Ban Reason: RDM, Mugging in public place, LTAP
Unban Reason: I don't know where the RMD claim came from, but, just as soon as I had came from a purchasing a holster for my legally owned pistol (M1911) two gents approached me with a rude demeanor. They invaded my space and kept calling me a retard and punched me constantly. Obviously I told them to back away, but they did not comply and even threatened to kill me. I gave them a 10 second warning to leave me alone or else I would have to use my own force (my gun of course). And so I did.

Later on, I sought out some mischievous deeds. I spotted a Deputy get out of his police car near the clothing store. I took it upon my self to hold him at gun point to take some of his money, since I was a bit low on cash after buying my pistol holster and I wanted to steal his cop car for own personal agenda. I held him at gunpoint with his hands in the air and commanded him to drop some money or he'd lose his life. He did as I asked and dropped $500. I then asked him to take down his hands and to unlock his cop car, but to my surprise he didn't obey me. He pulled out his pistol and shot me several times, putting me in critical condition. He called for an EMS and radioed-in the incident. The EMS never arrived and eventually I bled out and died. I lost my pistol, my standard firearm license and my holster, as well as my reason to keep playing.

So after that incident I went to bed. So you can imagine my surprise when I came back after a night's rest to find that I was banned. Thing is I don't even know what time I got banned. I don't think I disobeyed the rules in any way whatsoever. I robbed the officer in an area where there was literally no one. And I already gave a reason for the RDM claimed in the first paragraph. All in all it's just two days. But I would still like some sort of clarity. Like I said, I just woke up and found out I was ban. I didn't leave the server on purpose. I lost my life and it was pretty late, so I simply signed off. Knowing who the reporter of these claims would also be nice, since I don't really have any video evidence or witnesses.

I logged on about 10 minutes after the incident, and dealt with this situation 15 minutes after it took place.

The video that I was shown by the reporter showed you mugging them near the park, near main-street. Regardless of whether or not there were few people, it was a public place, from where you stood, NPC's could see you from clothing store, meaning you broke this rule:

4.1.4 - You may not mug or kidnap in crowded places or near any NPCs, criminal or regular - you must do it in less populated and less exposed areas.

Later on in the clip, you said that what he gave you wasn't all of his money. You hadn't zip-tied him, resulting in this rule being broken:

4.1.3.1 - You may not kill somebody for not giving out your requested amount of money if he does not have enough on him. If you zip-tie them and they lie, you may kill them.

That's when the video showed you shooting him.

A summary of the situation I dealt with: You mugged someone well within view of the NPC's at clothing store and on one of the most used streets in the city. When he drops money for you, you then say that's not all of his money and fire. Due to the poor audio quality, hearing this proved difficult.

I'm willing to reduce the ban or lift the ban, but I'd like your input on the above, as I'm no robot and likely got a few details wrong, before I come up with a final decision.

Not once did I shoot at the officer while I was mugging him. I shot him after he shot me. I didn't kill the officer. He killed me. I told him to unlock his police car and then he disobeyed my command and turned around and shot me with his pistol. I had no zipties, yes, as I didn't really had much use for them in the scenario. I mean, I just wanted some money and then to skedaddle. That's why I wanted his car. I didn't kill him. Honestly. He shot and killed me. I asked him to drop some money and he dropped $500, I didn't shoot him. It was even a bit awkward because that my first time holding up a police. So I was like: "Uhh, can you unlock your car for me?" and to my surprise he disobeyed and retaliated and opened fire on me, so I did the same as the mugger. I honestly don't see why I got banned for that. As for the mugging in a public place, I admit my own fault. I am sorry.

EDIT: I'd also like to know why I got the RDM claim.

Right okay, here's what I'll do:

I'll lift the ban, as I feel that you know what you did wrong and apologized for it, and I feel that you've had enough time for what you did.

As for the RDM, I feel you may be getting it confused with another situation or perhaps I'm missing something, so I'll ignore this for the time being.

Also, I'll lift the LTAP as you didn't know what you did was wrong at the time, and it did take me some time to join.

If there wasn't more of you, and it was only you, it was fine for the cop to fight back as it takes two civillians/detectives for FearRP and one cop. Plus, I have little evidence of the cop shooting you falsely.

Summary points:

• The ban will be lifted
• The cop will hold no punishment due to lack of evidence
• LTAP and RDM punishments lifted

Ban appeal ACCEPTED
