Time of Occurrence: 12/18/17 9:30 ish
Relevant Evidence: During the time in which I "LTARP" I was being arrested. Since already being convicted, I knew it would've been an OK time to leave due to personal issues IRL (with my mother). All they had to do, was force me in the Cop car, drag me to the PD, and give me my sentence (30 minutes.) When I come back I was banned; FOR 5 DAYS! I had someone on discord with me who had just recently joined my discord before I left as an ear witness. He was teleported to the moderator and tried to defuse the situation by telling the moderator that I had to leave for personal reasons. Instead of giving leniency, the moderator banned my friend for metagaming. He was in the discord for max of 20 minutes. I understand that its still meta on a technicallity, but I still find it a little disruptive seeing how he was just trying to help. (Expect a ban appeal from him soon as well.) These personal reasons were non negotiable, and trying not to break character, I still waited for my conviction without saying I had to go. All I can say, is that a 5 day ban is excessive. I'll take a 1 day if necessary. Personally, by what my partner tells me, this moderator was particularly not cooperative. All I ask for is a response so I can clear up the situation.

You went AFK while being arrested knowing you had weapons and chemicals on you. You had contraband in your inventory, and, taking into consideration how long you've been on the server, you probably knew they were going to be taken from you. I was called by the chief through a report, talked to him to get the whole story and then even gave you time to come back from AFK by taking you to a roof and waiting with you for two whole minutes. Two minutes in which I could've been taking other people's' reports, but instead I decided to give you leisure and await for your return. Thats when your friend came by, saying how you were on discord and that you had left. I appreciate his help, but this is not a reason for you to go AFK in RP, much less while being arrested and having illegal contraband on you you would need to drop.

As for the metagaming ban for you and your friend, both of you already had multiple warning points for a diverse amount of rules and should've been familiar with our stance on metagaming. Your friend had a total of 2 warning points, and both were for metagaming. This ban would not have been given out if not for both of you and your friend's experience on the server and past history with rule breaking, specifically with metagaming. I await your friend's appeal, but I'm afraid I'll have to tell him the same thing. He had been punished before for metagaming and obviously hadn't learnt his lesson, so I took it upon myself to take a harsher decision.

I do recognise, however, that I may have been too harsh with your ban, and in turn will be reducing your ban to 2 days as soon as possible.
