Now while it may be true that i did leave while arrested, I was not aware that that was a rule since I just joined the server. Since I did not know this i think i should be given a second chance.

No, only the banning staff member or Community Management, in rare cases, may handle a ban appeal. Since Thy was the banning staff member all I did was tag him so that he would get pinged on the forums to know he had a ban appeal waiting for him.

It is your responsibility to know the rule of the server. Even then, it should be common sense not to disconnect when being arrested.

You should take this time to read over the rules to avoid further misunderstandings in the future.
