Unban Reason: Just being considerate and educating the staff member and then someone else. Yes, I said "can someone help me? my penis fell off and I can't find it" obviously joking, but it's not why I was banned. OfficerNoodle and another accusing that statement being ERP which is completely false and misleading followed by their inaccurate definition of what truly constitutes erotic and erotic role-play. As stated, ERP is "Relating to or tending to arouse sexual desire or excitement." / "Erotic Role Play or ERP is any role-playing activity performed mostly, or exclusively for the purpose of sexual behavior. Using emotes, text chat, and character positions in any combination, two or more persons can act out sexual actions to their enjoyment." What is sexual? "Relating to the instincts, physiological processes, and activities connected with physical attraction or intimate physical contact between individuals".
This was just poorly dealt with. All OfficerNoodle said was for me to not say that again which is fair as I acknowledged when he said nothing of that nature is allowed to be said in-game in the fashion I said it, which is fine. All I was saying was, is that it isn't ERP which is what he first accused me of, which it is not, as explained above. So I defined it as such not for the purpose of feeling superior or the idea that I want to win an argument, I stated the definitions because it's a staff member misusing/misunderstanding what ERP is which is dangerous since that can lead to a false punishment. He never told me to stop talking about the situation entirely either so I don't see what the issue was about me defining ERP and Erotic itself. Sure it would make sense if he said look just stop talking about this here, drop it. That's not what happened, so again, I don't see what the problem is here because all I was told was not say what I said again and I did not, yet I get banned for not listening because I was defining what both erotic and ERP is? Oh and btw, before he banned me for 3 days I wasn't even talking to him I was talking to the other person that accused me of ERPing.
I've been on this server for a really long time and once again another petty issue due to ignorance (without knowledge, I'm not being aggressive). If staff members and players are going to get offended just because from an educational standpoint, you correct them, then just make it against the rules to be educational, like I don't understand the problem here. If you're in fact wrong about something and someone corrects in a manner that isn't aggressive as opposed to people who just want to argue and "win", then what's the problem? That's like me, say, fixing something in a house or a car and the way I'm doing it takes much longer due to my inexperience and someone much more experienced than I corrects me with a more efficient method and explains/shows me how to do it. Why should that upset me solely because I was unaware to the fact? That's what has happened here and I've been in these situations many times in the past with staff members where I corrected them and they were upset even while I was being composed, however, they would actually tell me "Ok look, just drop this and stop talking about it or else I'm going to give you a warning or a ban etc". Just because someone is a staff member that should not disallow someone the right to defend themselves when falsely accused with something. Stop using Staff ranking to belittle people in response of being wrong about something.
I gave the server another chance after the many times I've left from poor individual staffing performance and if it's gotten this bad where you can't even be helpful towards others by passively correcting their misunderstandings then I again have no interest in playing and before it's said because I already know it'll be conceived in someone's mind that doesn't actually read or understand this appeal's message, the joke I made about my penis falling off and needing someone to help me find it is not why I was banned so don't bother talking about it unless you're simply wondering why I would choose to say something like that.
