Ban Reason: Lying in sit, Vdm, Fail driving, Mingegrabbing car, Dissrespecting staff in Dm's
Unban Reason: Yeah so i drove out of mechanic and dont even remember hitting someone on the way out of mechanic and it wasnt like i rammed him on purpose (he had time to stop or drive out of the way of the stop sign + he shouldve put his belt on) So when he flew through the windshield i got out of my car and got in his and started driving around for a while, i was driving to return his car i failed to stop in time (because im not used to fast cars and ran him over and killed him), so i parked the car near his body and someone came and got in it. i got back in my car and drove away, like 5-6 mins later i get pulled by him and was asked why i did what i did, i tried to explain to him that i did not remember ramming anyone into a stop sign, wich i think i didnt but i probably lightly tapped their car and they hit it themselves, so the dude had a video of it but they did not shot me it because it had "sensetive information" so we waited for a while for the video to upload like 3 mins or something and they didnt even say anything to me , they just banned me for 3 days, like what happened in the sit was :
I got pulled and asked why i did that, i said what did i do, he said that i rammed someone into a pole, stole their car and ran them over. I said i didnt ram anyone or atleast dont remember ramming anyone. he said thats a lie because he has a video, we waited for it to post, i asked him to show me the video (because i dont remember ramming anyone) he said no. we wait for it to upload and i just get banned for 3 days without being able to explain any of it( like i wasnt able to explain how i was coming back and the VDM was accidental, i didnt mean to "lie" i just didnt remember ramming into anyone. so then i went to tristan on discord and messeged him *ill post screenshot* and started making this appeal, so i try to join back to see what the reason of ban was and i see it got extended to 7 days and im banned off the monolith discord now ( i was muted previously for saying something like "Why the fuck dont admins warn us when server restarts, i lost like 30k worth of items" even tho i didnt know that the server had crashed and got muted for that, and didnt get unmuted for 2 weeks till now (im banned) so yeah what i want is to not be banned or atleast shorten it back to 3 days like it was, or you couldve just given me warning points to be honest but anyways i didnt get to say this earlier because i got banned but sorry to the dude who's car i stole. To be fair i was pretty mad when i wrote those messages, but i dont think it was Ban worthy. i was just showing frustration because i was not able to explain myself properly.

Looking back at it i shouldve just kept my mouth shut and not confronted Tristan about it, its just i was frustrated is all (sorry tristan)

Hello @The Governor,

Thank you for your apology. To be honest you have a long record of punishments for NITRP-like behavior including VDM, so I took that into account from the start. We did talk in game and at the start I got both sides of the story like I always do. As you said in your post, we waited for 3 minutes or so for the video to upload. If you felt like you had anything else to add you could have during that time. Additionally, when you gave your side of the story you lied completely and then followed it immediately up with "Do you have a video? Because I don't remember exactly what happened."

However now in your post you seem to remember the situation as it happened clearly even though no one described it to you. Initially you said he crashed into a pole and that you did not hit him. Now you're describing the situation as it occurred in the video. If I've got both sides of the story, a complete video of the situation, and you've lied to me throughout the sit; I'm not going to waste anymore time with you lying and trying to talk yourself out of a ban. If you didn't have a long history of punishments, or at the very least were truthful with me, I may have been able to issue a lesser punishment.

If you can understand my point of view, and agree not to behave in this this way anymore I will consider modifying your punishment and unbanning/unmuting you from the Discord.

Yes, i agree with you that what i did was wrong, I never try to talk myself out of a ban, but i can be overdescrtiptive sometimes, since i think you have to consider what was going through my mind too, i didnt kill him intentionaly and i wanted to give his car back since i didnt realy need it, but like i said before the car was fast and very unstable and i ended up running him over and yes i do have a long history of stuff like that but this was uncalled for, what i did was stupid, i should not have done that in the first place and will refrain from this kind of thing in the future.

When you say that i followed up with asking for a video, i did that because i genuinley did not remember intentionaly ramming him into that pole, i think i was talking with my friend while driving out of mechanic and probably accidently lightly tapped his car and then looked to the right and i remember seeing someone fly out of their windshield and then i took his car wanting to have some fun but i should not have broken the rules and i accept any punishment you want to give me.
