Dear Staff,

I am writing to appeal my one-year ban for not intending to roleplay on the server. While I understand that my lack of participation in roleplaying activities was a violation of the server's rules and I take full responsibility for my actions, I believe that the length of the ban is not fair considering the circumstances.

I want to sincerely apologize for any disruption or inconvenience that my behaviour may have caused. At the time of my ban, I was not aware of the importance of roleplaying on the server and did not fully understand the expectations for participation. However, since being banned, I have had the opportunity to play Garry's Mod with my friends and have come to appreciate the value of roleplaying in creating immersive and engaging gameplay experiences.

I am writing to request a chance to redeem myself and become a more active and engaged member of the Monolith community. I am committed to following the rules and participating in roleplaying activities to the best of my ability. I understand that my actions have consequences, and I am willing to take any necessary steps to make amends for my past behaviour.

I hope that you will consider my appeal and give me the opportunity to demonstrate my commitment to improving my roleplaying and overall gameplay on the server. While I accept that some form of punishment is appropriate for my actions, I do not believe that a one-year ban is fair given my willingness to learn and improve. I hope that you will consider a shorter ban or some other form of disciplinary action that allows me to return to the server and contribute to the community in a positive way.

In the past 3 months you have been banned and punished for:

1. Calling people monkeys
2. Refusing to drop items in a sit.
3. NITRP
4. Derogatory terms
5. Additional racist remarks
6. Abusing game mechanics

In addition, you just came off of a month ban for the same things I had banned you for. To say that you do not understand that you have to roleplay on the server is completely stupid. There is zero way you did not have a clue after having been banned.

Part of the issues we experience as a community is from players such as yourself. If you are going to continue to lie and state that you did not know what you were doing when the logs clearly show the opposite you need to have a look in the mirror. What you were doing and had continued to do is unacceptable. Maybe you do understand that, but until that changes and you accept responsibility for it and actually make a change you need to take a good long look in the mirror.

I am not shortening this ban, nor will I change the punishments anytime soon.

In closing,

We want monolith to be a fun place for everyone. As staff, we understand rules will be broken. However, when you break the rules with blatant disregard for the experience of others and continue to do so despite other punishments and warnings, I do not have any sympathy for you. In this situation, you knew full well what you were doing.

I hope in the future we can see you in game being a productive and beneficial member of the community.
