I was taking a look around the bank and I walked through a doorway that lead to a vault which was wide open. When I looked in there a timer came on my screen and security guards came to me and arrested me and said I was robbing the bank. The thing is I didn't know it would automatically rob the bank just from looking at it, I only had a makarov on me and I was on my own so it's quite obvious I wasn't actually trying to rob the bank.

Obviously I didn't mean for this situation to happen, I didn't want to go for a long admin sit and argument about why I was being arrested I didn't want to be told I had to have video evidence of losing my stuff so I made a regrettable decision of disconnecting and rejoining.

My next descion was also a stupid one, as I joined back on the server Harry asked me if I disconnected and I lied and said I crashed which was so dumb to say because my computer is clearly not fast enough to launch gmod and join a server in 1 second.

I guess, In conclusion I should have been honest and done things right from the beginning by calling an admin but I just didn't want to go through all the hassle but next time I'd rather just call an admin instead of ending up here so sorry for not being honest in-game.

You got arrested for a valid reason. If you decide to walk into the bank vault then it's your own fault pretty much. Should be obvious that you are not allowed in there. You then decide to re-connect to avoid getting arrested and when I bring you, you continue to lie to me. This resulted in your ban. In my opinion it is completely justified, but I will not deal with this myself to prevent bias.

Any staff member who wants can make a decision on this, regardless of rank.

From what I am reading you did break two rules just to avoid staff sits, the combat logging to avoid arrest and the lying in a staff sit. Also, it's pretty clear that you shouldn't be in a bank vault that is locked behind two doors with armed guards unless you are trying to rob it.

I was just wondering that because I had understood what I did wrong and I will correct myself not to do it again if the ban could be reduced in any way. I'm sorry for lying it was just a stupid mistake.
