Hi, So I decided there's not much to do without my monolith grind, and the main reason I left was because of my rather excessive ban. I was banned for not being serious in a sit. Well, my reasons may not be the best but I wasn't being serious because the admin seemed very intent on banning me. I had given my side of the story for the sit, and then the admin says that I have done this multiple times but, an entire year ago. I begin to say these allegations are true but that was an entire year ago, it had actually been months since I had even had a warning point and my last ban was because I apparently wasn't serious in my application for moderator. Eventually, I got banned for 2 days, and I wasn't too worried about that and then my 2 days were up only to find out my ban had been extended for 2 weeks by Gregg. I wasn't very happy with this and decided I was done with monolith because of the extent of my recent ban. My appeal for this ban is that it is definitely prolonged for much longer than it should be for my first offense in months, especially along with the fact that i had already been given a ban but another admin had decided it wasn't long enough, He wasn't even apart of the sit he just kinda sat there and did nothing and hadn't even brought up that my ban was gonna be extended and give me a chance to talk with him to avoid this long appeal. I would like an explanation from Gregg on why my ban was put for so long and also would appreciate my ban being removed.

I extended your ban because all you did that day was break rules. You were doing things on purpose to violate our rules and go against our orders as staff. Its not the first time either. This is a constant thing and your priors proved this.

The first issue I had that day alone was you spamming your horn outside someone who was trying to RP. And before you say it was just honking, it was literally you holding your horn key down till they reported you. I made a global announcement as to not single you out to stop, you did it still.

Before all this you have been in numerous sits and received numerous punishments. It's not fair to go lite on someone who's priors need a scroll bar to go through.

I extended your ban because that is my jurisdiction as my rank. I can adjust your punishment should I need to. Just like how community management can lower or extend punishments I give. I did this because I'm not new to staffing. Ive dealt with people for 4 years now on this game, I know when someone is genuine or when someone isnt. And I don't see genuine in this appeal. Why would I reconsider my actions when you know what rules you broke and know what you have done wrong. I see no reason to reconsider my punishment.

You can think, do, and say whatever you want about me. You had 12 days to contact me, report me, or appeal your punishment if you felt it was wrong. You were aware of your attitude in the sit. You should know by now our job here is to provide a fair environment where people can play and actually enjoy their time, if we have a repeat offender we are obviously gonna start taking note and our punishments will become stricter. You say you havent had issues but I can assure you that you had recent warnings.

I'll await your response but you gave me no choice to even want to try and be empathetic. I am a very easy going person and I am reasonable. But I don't like when someone pushes me past my kindness.

I feel like my ban should be reconsidered due to the fact that I have been a rather good member in the monolith community as of the past few months, and you may be right, my priors are quite a long list but I had done my best to clean up my acts and had done a fantastic job for the past few months, even helping other players our if they needed pointers due to the fact that they're just starting out. You say that my appeal isn't genuine but one of the reasons I had waited so long to appeal was because I knew that there would be frustration in my banning and that it wouldn't be very good for me if it were to be accepted and that frustration would carry over. That's what has happened in my previous bans, while it's not a great reason, it's something I noticed to be true. I'm asking for you to look past my past and look towards the new me I'm trying brand on the server, I want to better myself to hopefully become a moderator, while my current ban is certainly a set back I would still enjoy to continue to better myself. If we're going statistically this has been my first punishment in months including my warning points and my last ban wasn't for an in-game occurrence. So I ask you to accept my appeal and believe that I am trying to turn over a new leaf (I believe that's the saying) If you look at my priors you can also notice that, while it may need to be scrolled through to you can also notice that the list suddenly stopped for a few months this isn't because I quit but it's because I began playing seriously, I even have called admins before I do certain things to make sure that it's okay to do so.

You want me to look towards a "new you" when I had to literally tell the ENTIRE server to STOP using their horns maliciously, something so minor and something I should never have to announce, but I had to because you sat outside someones base spamming your horn when they wanted to RP on this server which is so rare. You didn't even bother to mention this or argue your point cause you knew what you were doing and you are extremely aware of your actions and behavior.

I am not accepting this, I am going to be strict with this because you need to understand and learn if you are here to hurt the experience of the community, then yes, my job is to be strict. I want Monolith to be more than just a minge-zone, and when you sat outside someones RP base spamming your horn and pissing them off, I lost interest in reasoning with you, I don't reason with people who hurt the experience of others.

You had enough time to appeal this, you're at the end of your ban, wait out the rest and I hope to never see another appeal from you again.
