I got banned for 24 hours after logging off one night, and then got banned for the same reason 2 days later for an entire week. Here's my perspective on the situation.
A SWAT Officer asks me to take somebody into custody, and I bring them into the PD, hoping to bring him to the interrogation room for a 'trial'. While in the lobby, they tell me this information:
-The SWAT guy VDMed the person being arrested's friend
-The person being arrested got into his friend's car to drive it back to him
-The person got arrested (I can't remember if they told me that it was for vehicle theft or not)
Then, I leave to deal with the third civilian that was not involved in the incident, and when I come back, the SWAT guy (now a Lieutenant), was dragging him over to the jail computer and telling the guy that he didn't have the right to a trial. I had expected him to bring him to the Interrogation room first, which he should have if the guy was pleading innocent. From my point of view, the SWAT guy was technically code red for VDM, and was also insanely corrupt, as he was denying the right to a trial as well as falsely arresting him. I was not told of the gun bodylooting. I know that I shouldn't have killed him, but it was very late at night, and I left the game a few minutes after killing him to go to bed. I completely understand and believe that I deserve the 1 day ban, but I definitely don't think that I deserve another 7 day ban after being banned for an entire day. Monolith is my favorite RP server, and as far as I know, the ONLY serious CityRP server. Also, if you're reading this NickyP, I'm sorry. I should have tried to get the rest of your side of the story, and definitely shouldn't have shot you for it. I still think that it's wrong that you denied them a 'trial' with a third party, and arrested that guy for vehicle theft, but I DEFINITELY shouldn't have killed you. Additional members involved/witnessing: NickyP, some sergeant, and the 2 civilians involved. Just a note: I didn't know the 2 civilians AT ALL, my purpose was not to free them, but to punish corruption. Another side note, I have a general dislike of SWAT, due to prior situations, although it doesn't justify my actions.
