Reason for Report: Punishing for FTVL/Fearrp when only 1 gun is at my head. Because there is only 1 gun to my head, I am not under fearrp therefore I do not need to obey orders. He claimed I failed to value my life instead, even though I was not under fearrp therefore would not be able to be punished for "FTVL" since I am not under fear for my life.

Hello Arbon,
I took the judgement to give you a punishment for FTVL due to you having a vector to your head however still choosing to try to kill one cop. This is seen as FTVL as no one would attempt to pull out a gun knowing it may well result in their death which it subsequently did for you. You were then returned to the situation due to this rule being infringed and rp was resumed. I have attached the video that I was shown which I hope will provide you with more context on why I concluded this was a case of FTVL with the help of another staff member. The evidence

As I was the one to advise ben on the rules broken after ben asked me to confirm, I feel my piece is necessary.

I wish to make abundantly clear that FearRP and FTVL are completely different rules.

My reasoning about the FTVL? You pull a gun out immediately after being uncuffed despite having a fully automatic weapon aimed directly at your head. This isn't even the person you shot which makes this situation so questionable.

Now with the whole "I wasn't under fearRP so don't have to value my life", this is simply not true. Failing to value life is acting unrealistic in a highly dangerous situation whereas breaking FearRP is attempting to resist, fight back or hide whilst the criteria are met.

I do not believe that benpd05 is at fault here and if anyone was, it'd be me.

Thank you for your report.

To add some clarification, FearRP applies when there are two (2) actively held firearms pointed (trained) at an individual.
As our rule dictates that "If there are less than two players you may try to run or fight back" I can confirm that it is not "FTVL" and it is your prerogative to attempt to fight back. Not that I'd recommend doing so, as you will most likely lose that battle, but the option is there nonetheless.

Shimax & Benpd05 have been notified of this clarification and as a result your note will be removed (invalidated).
