Yes, sir, I was not the shooter as you can see from the video at the start. I did not shoot, I did take a little joy ride with some people in the car that I did not know.

If you watched the video I even gave 4 mins leading up to the situation to show that I did not in fact shoot anything.

Ok let me give some context to this from my POV. I get a call on radio from the tow truck driver that he was shot at by someone and so I make my way over to the Bar and see a white male in a brown jacket and jeans get into a black truck, In your video before you hop into the truck you can hear a gunshot and when the guy you picked up got in he said "I shot the shit outta" meaning that the guy you picked up who looked exactly like you was the shooter. Next when you arrived at hospital and got out the tow truck driver said "Its the guy in the brown jacket" after I cuffed you he called the black truck code 4 and said we got him. In the end you were wearing the exact same clothes, Had a gun on you & got out of the black truck which resulted in us believing you were the shooter.

Thank you for your report. After watching the video provided, and @Backflare's own account of how it played out, I'd say this was an unfortunate misunderstanding that resulted in a false arrest.
With any criminal situation it is the law enforcement's duty to make sure that the person they are putting away is actually guilty of their crime. The easiest way to have resolved this would have been to bring in the tow truck driver who made the callout in the first place and get a second opinion, as well as bringing in the others involved that were in the car to get the whole story. As Backflare said here:

after I cuffed you he called the black truck code 4 and said we got him.

It's fair to understand why he would believe that he got the tow truck driver's testimony and that you were, presumably, lying to get out of being arrested. This along with wearing the exact same clothes as the actual criminal led to easy confusion.

It looks like, more than anything, this was a misunderstanding and a mistake. I will be voiding this situation due to this, if you'd like a refund of your weapon feel free to make a request and I will fulfill it, or DM me on Discord at Melody#1192.
