Blacklist Reason: I was in a high speed pursuit with a blue car that was driving on the wrong side of the highway and he kept evading me through the intersection next to the PD, He was however driving rather fast and so was I. I was "certain" he had ran someone over (put quotes there because I was wrong apparently) so I called for a code red on the situation and chased the car to industrial, I hopped out of my car placed a spike strip blocking the road and chased after the person on foot i fired shots at the car so he drove off but he forgot to put his seat belt on and flew out the windshield when he hit my car so i shot his car till it blew up and called for EMS to revive the guy that had died. then out of nowhere i have to start dealing with an admin sit where I tried to explain my situation the best way possible but I was told that I was lying that he had ran someone over but how could i know for absolute sure he didn't if i dont have access to death logs, it was a bad call on my part but there was only so much i could do. I tried to be respectful but got a bit frustrated with the admins decision because i didn't feel like i had done anything so extreme that i deserved a blacklist. ill say it again, it was a bad call but how was i to know if he actually killed someone without being able to see death logs. ive been playing on the server for like 3 weeks (not time wise but everyday or so i hop on to RP) and i try to lvl up and find new ways to play as an officer, I haven't been warned for anything nor do I cause any problems I just play and have fun. Also the Admin that handled the situation was very blunt and one sided of everything that had happened I he was telling me that I kept trying to change the story but I was only changing the fact that i went from being certain to thought he ran someone over after hearing the admin tell me the guy didn't kill anyone.

Relevant Evidence: I dont have any video proof of the situation because I didn't think i did anything wrong and I wasn't able to start

I blacklisted you because cops should be aware of situations before they act. You opened fire on and killed a person in doing so as they flee'd, under the false assumption that they killed someone. Why did you think they killed someone? How did you come to this conclusion? Because I fail to understand that if you were in a high speed pursuit that you'd suddenly assume they killed someone and opened fire on the vehicle.

As for the blacklist, it's only for a day. It could've been longer but I went lite on the punishment because regardless, you should take some time to understand the rules and roleplay of a cop before going back to becoming a cop, as you falsely assuming someone is a threat and killing them turns an average situation into a headache of "false code red" and "RDM".

ya know??? i literally just purchased my premium membership today like right before i hopped online because i really like this server and i wanted the newer police vehicles and I was having fun but you even giving me any type of punishment aside from a warn was outright wrong you didn't even tell me that maybe i needed to be more aware you pretty much just went the extreme route and thats the reason I was getting upset during the mod sit, I dont think being blacklisted from a job was the right way you chose. im not a troll, i wasnt purposely trying to ruin someone elses RP but you treated me like some new person on the server. to me it just wasnt right, anything more than a warn especially if i havnt done anything wrong on the server while i have been playing. and to respond to the calling a false code red yeah i know and im sorry for doing it im also still sorta new to the server and i thought when i was driving through the intersection i saw a bod flying, there were a lot of people there so it could of been caused by someone else idk or i didnt see it altogether. @Gregg

Your premium membership is something I never take into account when it comes to these things, please do not specify nor mention it in any situations like this. I appreciate you donating to help the server but I do not appreciate it being slammed into my face as if me punishing you was a mistake cause you're Premium.

I've been doing this for a while and I know how to deal with these situations, and the punishment I dealt was lite compared to another staff member who would've given a longer blacklist, and possibly even a WP or ban. The blacklist is correct. In a real world sense, you falsely opening fire and killing someone would've gotten you fired and possibly even face severe legal issues / jail(prison) time. So in the sense that we are a Serious RP server, your blacklist is you off the job to correct the issues and learn from this.

Again, this wasn't an extreme route. An extreme route is just banning, I gave you a chance to keep playing on the server etc. You only received a 1 day blacklist from cop.

I can't because A. my significant other is home and I spend time with them as I never get to see them due to work, and B. I have work in a bit.

I prefer the forums when it comes to these matters.

This blacklist appeal is gonna be denied, as I do not feel this punishment was unjust, however you may make a Staff Report if you feel this was given in error.
