It seems that I'll no longer be playing on this server for an unknown period of time. I've decided that the server does not have its priorities set for the best possible future. To begin I believe that your server's choice in staff was not optimal. A situation regarding RDM was claimed by one of your staff. After the responding member had made their judgment on a situation I'd asked for a second opinion from a higher up. I believed that the staff member did not complete the sit properly so I wished that his judgment would be reviewed. He responded with "It's not my job" and then I was banned for exceeding warning points. When my ban expired I asked the staff member once more why he did not take the time to ask another staff member to review the situation. He once more claimed that it was not his job and that there are more pressing issues to attend to. I thought I was supposed to look up to your choice of staff. Why would you hire someone who wouldn't take 30 seconds to have a Super Admin revise the situation? I had another encounter with this staff member. The situation once more resulted in me asking for the sit to be reviewed. After he declined I made a separate report and as I turn out he was incorrect in his judgment. I could chalk this up to laziness or him not wanting to get into any trouble or maybe the team that hires staff actually encourages new members not to have anything reviewed. How did someone like this get hired? I've also noticed other staff members who don't even know the rules. There was a report regarding a murder I had committed. The responding staff member claimed, " I was not allowed to kill people in front of NPC's". He actually told me that under no circumstance was I allowed to shoot someone in front of an NPC ever. This particular staff member is disliked by more people than just me. Nearly every associate I've spoken to claims that he is not up to par with the rules.
Besides the staff, I've found a few simple bugs that have not yet been patched. Simple things such as licenses being broken or picklocks disappearing can make a huge difference. I'd rather have my picklocks and zip ties stay rather than being accidentally run over and having them disappear. Upon being revived I'll find them missing. As for the licenses I've found that requesting one while there is no mayor or chief glitches it, preventing you from receiving a license when one gets elected. If a car blows up someone can simply stay inside of the burning vehicle instead of being forced to leave. All this does is create a worse playing environment. It requires you to make a report during what could be a dangerous situation such as a shootout or raid. Of course, you could wait until the situation over however by then the person could have either left or you may have forgotten the name. If you get pulled into a sit all the other person has to do is deny what happened and with the lack of evidence, they got off free.
Police may be even worse than both of the previous issues. They've gotten away with arresting, tazing, and shooting me for practically no reason. The worst thing about police is that there are no guidelines. I've seen absolutely no RP whatsoever in the police force. I can get arrested for trespassing when I was clearly with an officer, arrested for "brandishing a gun" when all I did was equip it and put it away, or shot for defending myself with a firearm. Simple guidelines could stop stupid arrests or at least allow the other person to plead their case. There have been so many times where I've been arrested without having a say in the situation. I'd believe that to be FailRP because obviously, the cop isn't RPing as he would in real life, however it seems that's never the case. "Since there aren't any rules against it, he can do that". This is the exact response I've received from staff when I was getting arrested for trespassing when I was being escorted by an officer inside. The cop that arrested me took hardly any time to review the situation. I told him that I was being escorted by an officer so he literally turned to his right, asked a random officer if I was with him, and when he said no I got put away. A lot of my experiences with police are just blatant RDM's. I was walking away from a shootout at R10 and I saw SWAT arrive. I was near the premium locker so I put my hands up so they knew I posed no threat. They literally proceed to empty entire magazines into me from a 20-meter distance.
I apologize for the first goodbye message I wrote. The previous one was inappropriate and barely helpful so I decided to review my criticism. I'll start playing on the server when I find at least one of these issues fixed. @Tyler @8B1T @Ali
