I'm getting a similar issue when connecting “failed to lock vertex buffer” so I'll watch this thread in case I fix anything

Can a screenshot be made of the error, please? Failed to lock vertex buffer can have multiple causes.

Two solutions I have found for fixing these issues.

1) Allocate the correct amount of ram to your game, Google this and research it.
2) Turn your texture detail to medium or if it is already on medium to low. This will be I your gmod settings under video and advanced. Restart your game after changing for it to take full effect.
