You will need CS:S content in the addons folder as well as to make sure you have downloaded the addons correctly. (ie download the addons with your game open and on the main menu)

This is presuming you have CS:S as well as all necessary content. Here's are a couple lesser encountered problems yet still plausible all the same:

1. Sometimes, addons simply don't work the first time. To fix this, many suggest verifying game cache though this doesn't fresh reinstall all addons, so I'd suggest completely reinstalling the game off the get go. Alternatively, you can try refreshing your addons folder. The spoiler below shows instructions on how to do this taken from the #help channel on our Discord server. This fixes most issues content-related for me.
2. Addon conflicts are also possible. Try dismounting all addons that are not in the official Monolith content and only launch the server with the ones we state are required.

1. Close Garry's Mod
2. Navigate to https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1921957686
3. Click "Unsubscribe from all"
4. Open Steam
5. Right-Click Garry's Mod and select properties
6. Click "Local Files" at the top
7. Click "Browse Local Files"
8. Navigate to ~/garrysmod/addons/
9. Delete all ".gma" files
10. Open Garry's Mod and stay at main menu
11. Shift+Tab and navigate to https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1921957686
12. Click "Subscribe to all"
13. Wait for everything to finish downloading
