Client timeout while connecting to server

A description of your technical issue: Since installing the entire add-on collection, joining the server has continuously timed my client out during the Lua phase.
Has it happened before?: No, first time I joined the server I almost immediately entered without problems. (I didn't install the add-ons)
Extraneous details/description:
Have you checked “solved” for your issue?: Yes, but no definite solution.

I've had these problems before and it fixed as quick as i bought an SSD and put the Gmod files in it.
