cop baiting allowed?

i would like to say melody has been a great admin to me in the past i really dont want this to affect her reputation. i think another admin told her this was allowed. but i have asked many admins and they have all said that this was 100% cop baiting............ i lost 35k because of this and i really dont want to lose anything else. if you need more of the video just ask. thanks

I don't see how this is cop-baiting, unless the intention was to get cops to kill them? If someone makes a /ad for this, I feel like people might not think like that and overlook the fact that even asking for or adverting for automatic rifles would be deemed in such a manner. I can see it as cop-baiting if they consistently do it to start gun brawls with cops, but that situation could easily be handled in character by warranting them and then arresting them, unless it's just to the point where they do it daily to invoke a gun fight.

I'll wait on Melody's response, but I think I made sense of that. Correct me if I am wrong however.

Hi there, to clarify, are you reporting for cop baiting or entrapment? Because the sit was called because you believed that the detective was entrapping you into commiting a crime. He ran a /ad asking to buy automatic weapons and shotguns. However, he did not specify the exact gun he was looking to buy which is when it falls under entrapment. Simply specifying automatic is not entrapment, as I said in the sit.

@Kent @MelodyRain he was a detective he put a ad saying buying automatic guns! the baited me into committing a crime. i never said anything about entrapment watch the video. i said he baited me into committing a crime. this is the rule

1. Detectives may not bait people into committing crimes. The civilians need to suggest these to you instead before you may take action.

I don't see how Melody acted in the wrong, what Melody has stated was right. You can specify automatic but cannot specify the type of gun, that's when it can become entrapment. Which is why I do not see how or why Melody acted in a manner that would deem a staff report necessary outside of needing clarification.
