Been playing for a bit, roleplayed a little here and raided a little there. From locking myself in the bathroom of richards 10 with nothing but pots of marijuana and a tv blasting bob marley to mass producing class 3 weapons in true north steel with network of employees humming lynard skynard tunes. Ive hosted garage sales, marijuana dispensarys, casinos, lemonade stands, gun shops, kareoke bars, and criminal convience stores. Ive seen this community grow and contort to a point where i dont recognize it anymore. To put it simply, im not having fun. Being a criminal has reached its peak to the point where the only way i can feel any sort of in-game thrill is giving drugs and weapons away and seeing people fight each other over them like candy from a freshly cracked pinata. Being a medic gets boring fast, mechanics no longer exist, cops are no different than being in a organization, nobody listens to the DJ, fast food worker and garbage man are for minges or new players, firefighting is dull after the first few fires, and you cant have fun as a mayor without being nagged by a staff member. I thought Ive played every color of this roleplay spectrum until i was satisfied but ive come to realize that there was never a true feeling of fufilment. Seasons pass and its the same story every time. Orgs fight each other until one overcomes and everyone joins that org, people get bored of being in the org and split into smaller orgs, cops run around thirsty to make arrests to satisfy their hunger for XP never truly grasping the ideal "To protect and serve", medics float around healing people like drones, taxi drivers go unpaid, fast food drivers plow into crowds of people, its the same ol song and dance every season. Ive come to realize that its all controlled chaos that is part of a greater business agenda. At the very start of my monolith adventure, i wanted to be part of the community and make friends. Ive made great friends and met interesting people but i never felt like a member of a community but more like the last customer at walmart after closing hours. My friends no longer play and im not shallow enough to turn around and make new ones. I could fill this field and more about monolith and its flaws but it would amount to nothing and would risk forum bystanders to be gestapo'd and banned for no reason. My final moderation score was 1 warning point from a staff member that was later demoted and a bogus weapons blacklist from mono's favorite staff member, stuvi, with an appeal that remains unanswered to this day. I have nobody to thank or acknowledge except the people that made my experience here worth while. Shoutout to @Gurrazor for bringing together this business and i hope for good fortune to come your way. I was Ken Goldbergstein, Clint Morrison, Tatsuro Miyamoto, Solomon Cohen, and i bid you all a farewell.
We hope to see you online soon!
