I appreciate them all (minus the sequel trilogy) in different ways.

A New Hope was the OG film that essentially changed the course of cinema forever. The sheer technical feat of the film was unrivaled at the time and although its VFX's have been buffed with later edits, it still stands the test of time. The Empire Strikes Back is cinematically the best movie all around in terms of plot, editing, score and character development. It's the highest-rated Star Wars film and personally my favourite as well. Return of the Jedi is the first of the original trilogy where we see merchandise ploy and weird plot elements start to creep in that will forever plague future installments. The first half of the movie does serve much point aside from rescuing Han Solo who does not have much of a role the rest of the movie but the movie ultimately redeem itself in the second half with Luke and Vader's final confrontation with the Emperor. Ewoks are OT gungans.

The prequel trilogy obviously gets a bad rap and while there are certainly so many flaws, I think a large portion of the fanbase, at least those born during or after their release can agree that its world-building / lightsaber fights reigned supreme which spawned so many spin-offs and great storylines. The CGI was great for the time, the turmoil and events were solid, but unfortunately, its downfall was the clumsy dialogue and awkward and needless character moments (hello Jar Jar). Thank god Revenge of the Sith turned out the way it did or else this trilogy would have for sure been the death of Star Wars for most.

No comment on the sequel trilogy aside from it being an absolute waste of time that destroyed three decades of character development and made the events of the plot in every prior movie virtually pointless. If you enjoyed the sequel trilogy, you're either a casual viewer or an imbecile.

It's between Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One. Both were beautifully done!

Yeah it’s really good. Idk just something about the politics and them trying to regain control of Naboo was just so fun to watch in episode 1.
