First time on in well over a year, what happened?

Starting way back in 2017, I truly remember what mono really felt like. Big player count (eventually got to be too much and they opened another server (RP Florida) but it was closed shortly after coming out), a lot to do (a lot of things we’re still WIP’s but there was still enough for it to be extremely enjoyable) and the interactions mainly is what made mono great during that time period.. sadly, with garrys mod having a stagnant for player count (especially during the summertime right now) I don’t think mono will ever see full pop status again but I always have hope that one day, I’ll wake up to see the server thriving again with all the said things above happening so everyone can experience what I was able to.

Staff doesn't enforce rules unless it's against players they don't like, staff constantly gives excessive punishments, staff reports go nowhere because it's like asking an organization to investigate itself

When i first joined this server, i was in college. Now i'm working 6 days a week. Some people got banned, some people got busy. I Stopped playing for the most part because of the ridiculous 2 month and 4 month vehicle blacklists i was getting.

Hi everybody I’m not sure if any of the OG players still use these forums but just wanted to know what happened to the server. First of all joining and seeing Rockford instead of Monoford was insanely nostalgic it felt like I had traveled back in time 5 years to when I first joined this server. Is there a reason player count is so low now? I remember the server would constantly be over 90 people, now it struggles to reach above 30.

Southside doesn't get the love it deserves. I haven't been able to find a server that is english speaking. Im sure many people wanting to play this map for the first time.

People have always said it's the map, change the map and it will revive the server; NOPE. You can't have fun and they pretend it's a serious RP server while even staff screws around and punish people for the same thing.

You are right, but map always matters too, at least to me, i might stop playing due to gettiing sick of the map alone
