Reason for Report:
Ignoring the verbiage of the rules to close a report without dealing with it. There was mass chaos occurring and the only one to step in, was GM.
I commend GM for that. But stepping in to ban a VDMer for a year, then ignore a pile of reports, even going as far as blatantly disregarding what the rules actually say to close mine, is not the help people were asking for.

Your original report, was that someone killed you in front of the NPC, while you were AFK

No where in the rules does it say that you cannot kill someone in front of an NPC. Ironically, you screenshotted the very rule that explains this. Since your report did not have a rulebreak, I explained why and closed it

I'm not going to reply to this thread anymore, as I explained what happened

You can however kill and harm someone near and at all these locations, granted that you have a reason from earlier.

Not to mention, the video shows evidence of the guy initiating a mugging in front of an NPC, a direct violation of the rule below, regardless of how much you wish to ignore the actual phrasing of .6

You may not mug or kidnap in crowded places or near any NPCs, criminal or regular.

Invalid staff report. No abuse of administrative powers here. You created a report stating that you were killed near an NPC, which is allowed as long as a player has a reason to do it. Gm saw your report and replied accordingly to it.

You did not mentioned any important details in your report. You didn't say you were being mugged or that you were killed for an invalid reason. This is exactly why you need to be as descriptive as possible in your reports.
