My Side: so this guy that i was in a sit with was non stop insulting me to the point where my family was being insulted and the straw that broke the camels back was "oh i didn't know your whole family has down syndrome" i don't know why the hit me so hard but i just pulled out my gun and shot his ass down. i wasn't going to take that shit from him. i understand i should have waited for the admin to ban him but i let my emotions get in the way of that. i am sincerely sorry for gunning that man down but enough is enough this fucking guy was shit talking for so long without gregg doing a single thing, well anyway i hope my ban can be sorted out

I wasn't gonna let it slide, as I said. Nor should have it escalated to you RDMing him. I get he was being a problem, but you have to understand being the only one on handling situations alongside this, also gathering logs for a separate appeal, and monitoring other reports that come in while waiting for his video to process. There isn't a whole lot I can do to prevent it upfront.

The whole situation, in my eyes, was just boiling point so I mean. Keeping a calm head on your part, letting him do all the insults, will look better on your part so it's not just you two going at each-other in the middle of the sit. I get I could've handled it better by muting him, but I was trying to watch the video regarding the situation so I could expedite the process.

As I mentioned to you at the end of the sit, I wasn't gonna let him off. I already took into account his previous warns, and planned to issue warning points for Player Disrespect. However I wanted to at least resolve the situation at first, which stemmed from the original VDM, to him reporting that you had RDMed him.

End result, you decided to kill him. You asked me prior about what would happen if you RDMed him in a sit, and I even told you "it's not worth it honestly, it'll end bad for you" and you did anyways. I don't understand exactly why you decided to take this course of action given I was gonna resolve it at the end.

as i said in my ban appeal "i let my emotions get the best of me" which was my fault but if your going to let a guy just straight up insult me nonstop for multiple sits. i don't know what to say, i guess i shouldn't be on this server if yall let that happen

Again, I didn't. I had asked him as well to calm it down with his insulting countless times. And you as well. You had also pulled your weapon out multiple times in the sit, so you really weren't assisting, as it was giving him more ammunition to keep doing what he was doing. You have to understand, in these situations, if stuffs getting to you you can easily just PM the staff member handling it saying "Yeah nah not liking the comments" and even then, after I heard what he said with down syndrome, I was just gonna conclude it there and give him his warning points and let that whole thing happen, but you gunned him down.

Before that, the insults were him being extremely vocal with his words, and nothing extremely direct. So I decided the best approach was vocal warnings on both you and him, while I tried to make sense of the video, which was looking in your favor before you gunned him down.

I get that the emotions you had got to you, but you asked me way earlier in the sit what would happen if you RDMed him in the sit, after being told it's not what you should do and it's quite obvious why not, you decided to kill him regardless of his comments.

The both of you weren't in the right during the sit, insulting one-another. Both you and him received punishment for your actions, and like I said in the last post, I already planned to issue warning points and tell him to cut his crap in the future as I wasn't enjoying his attitude, but instead took a professional manner in that I'd let the main issue be resolved and resolve his attitude at the end of the sit when I finally fixed the problem that was occurring, which was you two clearly having issues with one-another.

If you feel I handled the situation improperly, I do suggest a Staff Report. But I believe in my eyes I did my best given everything ongoing at the time. Having to monitor that situation, review the evidence and video, I can't catch everything as soon as it happens. So my apologies there.

I do hope you see where I am coming from. Because you understand the situation as well as I do and are aware your actions during the entirety in the sit weren't looking good in your favor as well.

It's not my place to determine how much this was getting to you, so I am honestly hoping you're upfront with me. That this person was irking you, and his comments were not sitting right with you. And it all boiled down from there, as you say, "straw that broke the camels back".

What I'm trying to say is despite who and how is handling the situation, you need to be aware your actions do result in consequences despite how the other individual is acting. And like I said, I was gonna eventually handle what he was doing as I wasn't enjoying the attitude he decided to take in the sit which was even turning against me despite me trying to handle the situation as effectively as possible.

I do hope you understand this stuff for the future, as I can be pretty fair with these things, as I understand not everyone is the same and cannot process harassment like others do. Some causes them to do things they regret later. So I just ask you be more careful with your actions.

Can you do that with future situations, reserve your comments to yourself and if the person truly gets to you, not RDM them in retaliation for their poor behavior?

Understandable, I can relate on that front in stuff can get eerie especially with other factors at hand.

I'll go ahead and remove the ban and I am putting full trust that what I'm being told is true, as I can relate heavily with it and can understand that not everyone can handle stuff like this as well as others, and one comment can be the deal-breaker.

Just remember to keep yourself calm in these situations despite how irritating the other party/parties can be in these situations.

Keep in mind as well that I'm trying to be fair with this on my part, so be more careful in the future.
