Reason for Report: William Benson reported me for crouch jumping during an situation when I was on cop, Jacub was siding with the guy who reported me the whole time. I kept trying to prove that it actually wasn't spam jumping as I was just jumping to cover. The rule clearly states that you are not allowed to spam crouch jump but in the videos it clearly shows I was not spamming it nor did I shoot while in the animations of crouch jumping. This was an very excessive punishment for actually even abusing it. As it seens Jacub didn't actually clearly look at the new rule of crouch jumping. I would please like a higher up staff member to review this ban and inform jacub about the new rule.

Greetings, the reasoning for the 2d Weapons Blacklist was due to jump crouching. Which is classed as exploiting, as you know.

When discussing the punishment with another staff member, they suggested a much harsher punishment which I decided not to give due to it being too much in my opinion.

After I issued the blacklist, you did request a ban instead of the blacklist. Which I denied as with a weapons blacklist you're still able to play on the server.

I was not spamming it nor did I shoot while in the animations of crouch jumping

And for this, you were using it as an advantage in order to not be shot when peeking / moving to a different position.

Hello, I apologize if responding to this isn't allowed however I feel like I'm pretty informed on this rule due to a 1 hour long sit about jump crouching involving @misterlol29 and @Shimax ツ

I had been reporting a player for jump crouching being under the impression that jump crouching at all during any sort of shootout was against the rules no matter what. However when talking to @Shimax ツ and @misterlol29 , they made it very clear that the rule states that it is only against the rules to spam it. In my case the person I was reporting was not spamming it and just using it to jump on top of cars/into cover (the same thing kira is doing). When the rule states spamming it, it's saying crouching multiple times within the same jump to throw your hitbox around to the point where its unhittable. In this case from what I can see in the videos Kira is just jumping into cover which from what @misterlol29 and @Shimax ツ told me is allowed to do.

The jump crouching that Kira is doing in this video is identical to what the officer was doing in my report awhile back and he was not punished because it was not spammed and was used to get on top of cars or into cover, which is what Kira is doing as well.

It seems this rule is still iffy between the staff team and should probably be more properly discussed between each other so everyone is on the same page and can come to a conclusion on what jump crouching is actually considered punishable.

To provide some clarity on this, our general rules state:

1. Any form of hacking, abusing or exploiting to gain an advantage over other players is not allowed. Report accidental exploitation to the respective staff members immediately and refrain from using and sharing those.
   1. Community Management reserves the right to instate cheating infractions based on suspicious activity.
   2. You are not allowed to spam crouch/jump while in combat.

After further discussion with Community Management, the spamming of crouch and jump in combat was the only prohibited action as defined in our rules. Therefore, the act of crouch jumping in combat is not punishable ONLY if it is done sparingly. The videos provided show a clear example of crouch jumping that will be tolerated in a combat situation.

As with enforcing any new rule, the appropriate dissemination of the desired outcome takes some time and these reports help provide the Community Managements stance on these issues.

I will conclude this staff report and set the following precedent: Limited or otherwise minor crouch jumping (more than 10 seconds apart) will be allowed in accordance with our server rules. Spammed or rapid crouch jumping will remain prohibited.
