Description: Myself, Romeo & John went looking for the mayor after the mayor specifically put out a City Announcement saying that Romeo had a warrant out for his arrest for possession of a class 3. After searching for the mayor in the TownHall (The place he happened to be), we zip tied him and demanded a negotiator from the police to start negotiations, we wanted 1. 3,500 for the Mayor 2. Romeos warrant status to be removed 3. Safe Passage 4. SWAT to remain inside PD. After negotiating for a while the SWAT failed to comply and therefore John shot the mayor, immediately after luvbunny freezes all 3 of us and states that we've broken rules.

Personally these two rules contradict each other, I'll explain.
So it states that we can only raid the townhall to kill the mayor if he has 30% rating or below or he is being corrupt, however in the rules I pasted to luvbunny, it states the mayors approval rating must be below 30% or YOU HAVE A PROPER IN-CHARACTER REASON, players can attempt a coup. It does not specifically state what an "In-Character Reason" is and therefore we believed that if the Mayor advertised him putting a warrant on one of us that then is a IN-CHARACTER REASON to kill / take him hostage. According to luvbunny the "In-Character Reason" of a warrant is not valid and that it can't be used against the mayor. Not to mention that we didn't target the townhall as a raid, we targeted the mayor and it was only by chance that he was in there therefore we did the situation inside the townhall apparently if we did it somewhere else it would be fine, however I don't understand how a building dictates when a situation can or can't happen?
For example, if the mayor has a roleplay reason to be killed by players however he is in the townhall and doesn't have a 30% or below rating then how are the players supposed to conduct their roleplay, the mayor could just camp the townhall and the players can't do anything since it's not considered "a roleplay reason" to kill the mayor?
Basically one rule states that we can only raid townhall if % falls below 30 however another rule states that we can kill the mayor if we have a proper rp reason. But what if the mayor is in townhall but doesn't have 30% or below but we have a roleplay reason like the two rules contradict and in result we got banned, we would have been able to do what we did if he wasn't in townhall compared to if he is in townhall.
I'd also just like to state that Luvbunny you arrived on the server and became a SWAT Officer during the active situation, then went to staff and froze us and took a staff sit. Firstly, you wasn't on the server when this raid started therefore how would you know what the mayors % was on at the time since it can increase / decrease over time. Secondly, switching SWAT to Staff to spectate is a bit suss seeing as there was other staff on and they could have dealt with it. Thirdly, I don't understand why the situation was stopped at the time it was stopped (After killing mayor), if we broke a rule the situation could have been voided and you could have explained how what we was doing was against the rules, because that was a waste of time and gear and now resulting in a ban.

In complete honesty we weren't being disrespectful (Myself anyway), and we according to you simply made a mistake on 1 section like the situation could have just been voided and we could have been verbally warned or something less severe not everything needs to result in a ban, you listed I had previous for VDM and FailRP which to be honest have nothing to do with the situation of misunderstanding a badly written rule....

- Players raiding Town Hall can only raid to kill the Mayor, if the Mayor is deemed raidable. This means the Mayor having a 30% or lower approval rating, or being corrupt. Once the Mayor is assassinated, they must flee. They may not stick around.
