Blacklist Reason: Six days ago we had recently switched to Monoford and there were still many new systems which people were experimenting with. My friend and I were holding a hostage sit in the casino when after a hour I deployed my fishing rod jokingly to symbolize the seemingly everlasting situation. It was by doing this that I realized you camera when using the fishing rod out of the water switched to your bait and you were able to third person peak where your bait was instead of your player model. After doing this once I stopped and continued my hostage sit until its conclusion when I was pulled by Proxima and given my blacklist for the use of the Fishing Rod Exploit.
Unblacklist Reason: The reason that I am making this now and not at the time of the blacklist is that I knew if I wanted a chance of pardon, I would need to serve at least the majority of the punishment. I am here to explain my side of the story and hopefully you will be able to see through my perspective and maybe express the same feelings I do. Let me first start off by stating that after the occurrence I deeply and sincerely regretted any exploit that was used during the hostage sit. Although I do understand that, "I am a long time player and should know the rules", by looking at my history I have no bans over a day and defiantly no prior comments regarding exploiting. I really do love this server. I spend most of my free time on here and appreciate the hard work that is put into this project to make it the best it can be. I understand that punishment had to be issued, but my feeling towards the situation are that I was given no time to report the exploit, I did it once and stopped promptly after I discovered the exploit, and ultimately a one week weapon blacklist is not in my mind the retaliative punishment for an accidental fishing rod exploit. Again I am deeply sorry for my actions but considering I have served the majority of my sentence, and it being my first exploiting offense with a new system, I was hoping that you could understand my point of view.
