From what I remember I’m 99% sure that Mark stated that the HL2 Event wouldn’t make a return to Monolith after the last one(also they have a server for HL2 if I’m correct). It would be nice to keep these items as they won’t benefit you unless there is someone collecting all exotics after wipe and it will take a very long time for someone to obtain these rare/exotic items from others.

These items really do hold a lot memories for those who participated in the events and like you said, only three people obtained the bug bait for enhancing roleplay which will in-fact make the bug bait at the top of the list for the rarest item.

In my opinion I think we should be able to keep all HL2 exotics as they won’t be obtainable again, unless otherwise.

Bugbait should stay as it a soulbound item, it's in the same category of cosmetic as the hats, back, shoes, and misc. items that are remaining, and it is an item that helps remember the HL2 events in Monolith.

Similar to what Dezi said, the bugbait and other HL2 items will not provide any benefits to the players, and for a lot of us it provides memories to an event every April 1st that a lot of the players looked forward too.

+Support to keeping the HL2 items such as bugbait and rations. The Half Life 2 items were great memories for myself and a lot of other players in the Monolith community. The items, such as the bugbait, are soulbound and provide no benefit to the players keeping them. It is unfair that some items such as the Rebel Beanie are being kept, while the other Half Life 2 items are not.

I mean this with the most amount of respect possible. But it doesn't matter what previous staff members, developers, management, etc. have said in the past. When there's new ownership, anything can happen at the new owners discretion unless there were written agreements in place to prevent something.

Now with that said, I'll spoil it now to end the topic of discussion. I already have plans on the schedule for an HL2 event. I won't be leaking any details about it, but it will happen this year.

Also, please keep in mind that if an item is not on the reserved list, there's a good probability it will be available to earn/purchase in the future. It seems a lot of players are confused about the reserved list, so I will continue to keep making announcements about it over time.

The Reserved List contains a list of exotic and rare items that I personally guarantee will never be respawned, duped, or available for any player to purchase/claim ever again, for as long as I retain ownership of Monolith Servers. And even if I ever transfer ownership, I will more than likely have a written agreement for new owners to respect this list. As of this moment, there are only 8 items in that list, which are the items in the newly released cosmetic store right now. Items can always be added to the reserved list, but will never be removed.

New Players shouldnt be able to join orgs, because they get extorted, We need a very high Character Level requirement for 1 creating the org (200) and 2 actually being able to join (100), due to this. Mainly because of Rules of Monolith can be misunderstood heavily and favor Criminal Orgs, while players need a chance to just be a civilian, also the question of being in a org and ability of still being able to choose Police Jobs should be thought about.

Honestly if I had to guess it's probably to give people incentive to grind again, cuz the market is overflowed with a bunch of guns and shit from years ago. So wiping will wipe the slate clean and anyone who exploited in the past (there were a lot trust me) will be taken out of rotation and the economy will see a full reset. it sounds pretty cool tbh

I get the reasoning, it just sucks that it feels like I am playing for nothing right now. I returned after like 2/3 years and I know that I just play now to lose everything again in 2 weeks. All I can grind for is cosmetics and job levels I guess

The reason we arent wiping straight away is because there is less then 0 point of wiping and then bringing out a massive update a month later.
