Unban Reason: Sorry I was looking for people to raid so I went into Oceanview. As I went in a cop pulled up and tried coming in. I had my gun equipped so I shot at him. After fighting for a minute, some guys came down the elevator. I then realized I had walked in the middle of a PD raid. I panicked bc I knew it was against the rules and went up the other elevator. I then dcd to take myself out of the RP so that the police and the guys who came down the elevator could continue their fight. I should've thought it through and not dcd and I'm sorry for it. I just didn't want to get banned for countering a police raid, but that happened anyways. Please let me come back to the server I just want to continue playing and it won't happen again.

So I'm going to take this in parts:

At the time I was spectating one of the police waiting for their raid to finish so I could speak to them about an active report they had. Figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and also spectate the raid. From my point of view, you rolled up and started defending the bottom in a coordinated effort with the penthouse apartment above. (Opinion, not fact, which is why you weren't punished for that specific detail) After you shot the cop, you ran to the regular apartment elevator and fired at the cops coming down from the opposite penthouse one, loaded from your elevator into the upper section and then DC'd. It wasn't looking good.

I then dcd to take myself out of the RP so that the police and the guys who came down the elevator could continue their fight. I should've thought it through and not dcd and I'm sorry for it. I just didn't want to get banned for countering a police raid, but that happened anyways.

If you already engaged with them you're involved in RP, just leaving isn't going to help the situation now. Two cops reported you when they went up the elevator to find an empty room. On top of it I try and give everyone who logs the benefit of the doubt, I have been on the end of a very seemingly conveniently timed crash, I know it can happen and empathize. So if I see the player is attempting to rejoin I wait and see if they try and contact staff about it. Instead you immediately rejoined, unequipped your AK (or you did that right before the disconnect memory on that niche specific is fuzzy) then asked to join the event that was taking place, completely ignoring the fact you just reconnected to avoid RP.

Please let me come back to the server I just want to continue playing and it won't happen again.

I personally believe I'm really understanding with player appeals, I base my decisions and rulings off of 4 factors, Context, Intention, History and for appeals Value.

The context here is bad and even with the benefit of the doubt that you may have been attempting a player raid, the DC takes away the good faith even with your explanation, it isn't right.

Intention becomes grey as well because even if you were scared to get banned, you immediately reconnect and the first thing you did was attempt to join the event with no regard to the fact you just were in a cop shootout. I feel if you were actually frightened from the concept of being banned, you wouldn't have reconnected a minute after just to play an event.

History with this specific rule isn't bad, but your history for a newer player is already decently extensive, I can't go into details on that but I would strongly recommend reviewing our rules here.

The final point would be value, just making an appeal is the right step in this category because at the very least it shows you value your time on the server, however in this context I'm looking for more along the lines of the value you've gained from your time being banned or rather if you learned anything. Based on what's said in the appeal and what was witnessed at the time, I don't think an unban would help in this situation. I feel the time off the server is the appropriate response given certain historical factors with rule breaking and the lack of an attempt to right the wrong when you reconnected. If this were a longer ban it would change things but given all of the above, two days seems appropriate.
