Me as a Mentor

Hello All,
I am John Santoro. Recently I applied to be a mentor. After hours of time and work, I was ultimately denied my mentorship. The merits to my denial can be summarized as me being a "mingey" and overall negative player/member of monolith (even though I proved that I had very few bans in general). I made a really tight case for my being a mentor, but it was denied due to "an overall negative review of my persona by the staff." Although I know that many staff have confused me with other players especially sharing my last name, there are still staff that know the true me. In addition to to the staff's opinion, I want to see the overall community's opinion over me as a player. I suggested that I do this to disprove what TazDevil was saying about me in my application process, and he said it would backfire on me. However, I still believe that my true self needs to be described by the players i see from day to day.

Player Level: I think 35
I don't really talk too much in game.

I really wouldn't consider this some kind of overreaction. This is easier to do than collect another page of evidence for my case because here, the evidence presents itself.

well based on the fact you started tearing up when mazen got mentor and started pming both him and complaining in ooc for a whole hour i think your weird and need a job if that helps you

I mean to be fair the only reason John hasn't been made mentor was because the community sees him as a minge, when in reality Mazen is the most mingey person I know on the server by far. Like Jeff Maine and Credence don't have anything on her and somehow she was made mentor like what

First, I was on for like 5-10 minutes yesterday so I don't know where an hour came from. Second, I appreciate the suggestion for a job, but I am currently studying for a more in-depth job. Third, I wasn't necessarily attacking Mazen, I was using him as a base for my own argument. Mazen has had more punishments than me, has been on the server longer than me and in that time, he has amassed quite a group of people who are not on good terms with him. I was simply trying to point out to Taz and the other admins how I was rejected on a basis of minginess that was based on assumptions and misconstrued realities, while someone who bathes in minginess was able to easily become mentor while I tried for nearly two months and many hours to become mentor only to be rejected on loose grounds.

Also, I suggest you take a look at the most recent staff/player report on Mazen. That basically is good summarization of only a part of what I was talking about.

Normally, I would also take into consideration what you said since you commented under my discussion, but I know what you say is based heavily on personal biases and conflicts you may have with the Glizzy Gobblers and its leaders. Furthermore, your comment mostly seems to be some form of attempted ridicule which just further makes me exclude your opinion. I was looking just for the honest opinion, but I don't think you gave one since I legit have rarely encountered you in-game either.

Just so you know punishments aren't the only thing, but staff also take notes on what you do in the server. Say you open a shop, and a staff member is watching you. That said staff member will give you a positive note for creating a rp situation. These positive notes is what staff look at. If you really want mentor create more rp situations, help people in ooc, and watch what you say/do. I have a terrible record, yet I still managed to get mentor a while back. Just give it time and you'll also get there.

You guys are complaining about toxicity even though you are starting these pointless arguments. Just leave us alone and we will leave you alone. You guys clearly aren't getting anything out of this besides making yourselves look like fans.
