My textures are completely messed up

I use /fps a lot and I have heard that it messes up your textures but I didnt think it was true so I kept using it. Today I logged on and all of the cars were gray, the buildings were pink and so was the water. Im already subscribed to all of the addons and i have css mounted. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

If grey cars you mean like it looks like there is 8 of them spinning in circles that is because your gmod settings were set back to low go to options and set them to high and rejoin and you should be fine and the pink buildings may be apart of the settings if not make sure css is still mounted

Consider moving your GMod game files to a SSD if you have one. It will make your loads after and probably solve these loading texture problems once you have subscribed to the server content.

SSD will help with loading into the server, thats about it. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to everything, also don't use /fps. Get an autoexec that does the same thing and just mess around with it until you get something that doesn't cause any issues

Hello there, if you haven't fixed this problem, here is what I would do.


Delete the contents of the GMOD addons folder.
Subscribe to monoford addons (even if you already have)
Download CSS
Open gmod to reinstall addons
Put texture and model quality to HIGH.
Restart Gmod again for stability
Open MonolithRP, hope for the best.
