Ban Reason: lying to staff/failrp/stallingrp

Time of Occurrence: 11:30 may 23

Relevant Evidence: i really dont know what happen i was lockpicking the shell with 500 ping and when i got out i was chased by a axe member for like 10 years untill i got to the drop off point then they mugged me they told me to drop 7k so i droped it by 500 witch only really took 1 minute then i got pulled up by a admin which voices were lagging a tiny bit i had 300 ping btw and one admin told me ping dosnt affect VOIP witch it clearly affected me and then i was banned for lying to staff i dont really think that is 5 days

The reason I issued a ban against you is that I didn't really see the excuse of "lag" being applicable to the situation when even in chat you were told the amount to drop. You kept dropping 500 dollar bills over and over, stalling RP. I pulled you aside to talk to you, and even experiencing lag myself on Monolith from time to time, I cannot fathom how it affected VOIP to where you stalled RP for so long. Especially when they typed it out for you, it just kinda shows the intentions behind your actions.

Just seemed kinda off that you decided to do that and continue to do that when two staff were next to you. I even physgunned you for a bit in case that lag part was true so it’d register that you were being told to drop the full amount so they could go on with their business but you kept dropping 500 dollars. I’ve had my ping reach 600 on Monolith and it never hindered others VOIP or affect anything. Not everyone is the same true but if this was purely latency and not FPS lag then I don’t see why it caused the issue.

For the sake of the appeal I’m gonna go ahead and Deny this as I believe this punishment is adequate for the actions displayed on the server and during the sit. Ping can be a problem but I kept tabs on yours during the sit and the highest it got was 200 during the entire scenario. My own ping was about close to yours and inexperienced little hiccups but I do understand not everyone is fully the same. Best advice to give is if your ping or lag is causing a hinderance on you and others it’s best to try and resolve it or take a break from the server till the issue is resolved.
