While I have played on two accounts on the server, I think the nature of it has been misunderstood. This isn't a second account I hop on when I'm banned, it's a new account. I fully switched from one to the other. For two reasons.
First was personal problems with two staff members. While staff members disliking a bad player isn't a surprise, it made becoming a better player feel impossible. When my original accounts ban expired, I came on for a bit. I apologized to one of these staff members for any disrespect I'd made toward staff and said I'd be a better player. Minutes later without a word spoken to me about it I was banned for VDM. I bumped a car trying to drive around it, and hit someone in the road. If memory serves they were already on the ground unconscious, I wasn't even aware I'd deceased someone. This moment is when it became obvious I couldn't become a better player on that account. This isn't to point fingers at staff, but simply to show how impossible it seemed to become a better player in a hostile gameplay environment.
Secondly, I wanted a fresh start. I had given myself a bad reputation by being an immature player and wanted a chance to change that. And frankly I did. I've had two very short bans. I'm a level 99 cop and spend most of my time on the server roleplaying as police. I've patrolled with Gurrazor, Dystopian, JustJosh, Harry, ect. While I understand how using a new account can be seen as suspicious, I think it should be taken into account that I did it to have a second chance to be a better player and that's exactly what I've done. I don't even play on my old account, I've logged onto it a few times early on to give friends my items and money. I've been completely respectful towards staff, befriended many players, engaged in lots of serious police roleplay and have proven my past actions on my last account in no way correlate with the latter.
