Ban Length: Permanent.
Banning Staff Member : @Maher
Ban Reason: Metagaming
Time of Occurrence: 7/8/17
Relevant Evidence: I've waited long enough to make this ban appeal, yet I still don't know what I did wrong. I was in a teamspeak with two good friends of mine; Josh Young, and Asher Young. I had asked my friend Josh Young in teamspeak if he wanted to hop onto some CSGO and he said he couldn't because he was in a sit with Maher and Dennis Hall. Now Dennis Hall is my friend on steam, so I decided to hit him up on steam. I said "please try not to get Josh banned because he's my friend". Then Dennis decided to tell the admin about what I said, his logic was that since I knew about the sit, he claimed that Josh was metagaming. I have done my research and the rules define metagaming as IN-CHARACTER situations. Simply knowing about a sit is not metagaming in any way. Dennis then gave Maher the teamspeak IP and Maher actually takes the time to invade my friends personal teamspeak. But he never heard anything, nor saw anything. He just banned me and my two friends off the fact of being in a teamspeak and knowing about the sit. It was an assumption and it got me and 2 other players (might I add premium players) banned. Not a piece of evidence was shown against our accusations and we received permanent bans for this. Even if, metagaming is not normally a permanent ban. I really wanted to purchase a premium subscription and enjoy the server to it's full potential since I've already clocked so many hours on it. Besides, the initial sit had NOTHING to do with me. Dennis was just frustrated with the other player and Maher just invaded our teamspeak to ban us. I tried explaining the whole crumby situation, but Maher banned me permanently almost instantly. I believe that shows a lack of professionalism, and he could at least talk to me for a minute or two before falsely banning me from a server that I love and support.
