Pink texture (only on building windows and water)

A description of your technical issue:
Whenever I join, the water as well as the windows on some buildings are pink. I have my CSS texture packs as well as the Monolith content add-ons installed, and I even tried reinstalling/resubscribing to both. I also tried reinstalling the game.

Has it happened before?:
Just joined Monolith yesterday.

Extraneous details/description:
Not sure if this affects it, but I run gmod on 64-bit through the "Betas" tab in the game properties. This is because if I don't (meaning I opt out of all beta programs) , the game crashes whenever I try to join this server after the "Lua starting" loading bar.

Yes, someone also had a similar issue but the original poster was not able to fix it.

Had the same issue. Enable HDR under advance video settings. took me forever to figure it out after multiple reinstalls.

yeah you just got to deal with it thats what happens when someone joins the server it could be different for anyone for me its a no texture under my guy

Incorrect, its not something that just has to be dealt with. Enabling HDR in the display settings should resolve this issue. If ALL textures look like this, you would need to purchase and mount Counter Strike: Source as well as subbing to all monoford content in the pack. This can be accessed by typing !content in game.

Disconnect from the server, go to your gmod settings and set HDR to full and type mat_specular 1 in console
