@FloppySyrup Do you have video of the arrest by any chance, for added context? It does sound like you were legitimately trespassing from the conversation. Additionally, just so you are aware Lockpicks are in fact illegal.

I do not have a video of the arrest, I started recording when I got the chance and damn I did not know they were illegal, doesn't make much sense in my opinion but it's good to know!

So I'm going to start by pointing out the tricky part here - I can't seem to find the actual written arrest reason, and as such I can't tell if he actually attempted to charge you for the Cocoa seeds despite them not being Coca. Outside of that however, from what I gather from the conversation is that you were found trespassing in the back of the bank with a lockpick (we'll ignore that you are actually the one who picked the doors, as I don't know if he knew that). Taking the more generous set of laws (Bank Robbery can get you 25 years), 8 years is well within the realm of reasonable for the two offenses you did commit. Therefore I cannot say that the accused acted out of line.
