Date and time of loss: Roughly 22:13 -> 22:15 BST, 17/04/17

What happened: I was basing in the skyscraper base and growing weed there with two friends, Darius Ruben and Louise Heiden. I had chosen this base specifically, As you cannot hear the water effects that water the weed due to the fact that you have to go up an elevator to the farm. Darius Ruben did not leave the base once, as I was the one selling the weed we produced, and he farmed it. All three of us (Which is funny, Because Louise Heiden had actually only just entered the building for the first time) suddenly got warranted, and minutes later swat broke down the doors and arrested us all. Because of this, We lost the entire weed farm (though I'm only asking for a refund of one room, due to the fact that we didnt have screenshots of the other room.). I also lost my shotgun once cuffed (Proof of owning that being that I shot the swat with it when they came in, aha.). The only problem with this is that no-one else had entered the building besides us, which Darius can confirm as he didnt leave the building once, thus would have seen when people were inside. Also, As mentioned earlier, the base had been chosen because you couldnt hear the water going into the weed. Upon asking why the raid was called, apparently someone called "John Wick" had seen weed inside the building, and had "photographic evidence" - though the doors had been locked at all times, and Darius was keeping watch. This means that the raid was false, Thus breaking rule 7.5, Which prevents random/false raids without a reason.

What and/or how much do you need refunded: 4 x Large pots ($1000)

4 x Acid Soil ($800)

2 x Showers ($400)

2 x Lights ($500)

1 x Radial Light ($400)

1 x Water Supply ($400)

1 x Leone 12 Gauge Super Shotgun ($5602)

Total - ($9102)

Evidence:

Screenshot of the farm: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=907825078

Statements from @Darius @Bluish can confirm the story and I had the gun

@hawke was also a member of the police raid and can confirm the contents of the farm, alongside the shotgun (I shot one of the officers infront of him during the raid)

@Votra issued the warrant with evidence from @Bryson, whom told me he got it from "John Wick"

@Haggrid was false raided by the same team of cops just earlier, and mentioned to me now how the cops just opened a locked door when he was being raided. I also dont recall the sound of a single battering ram during my raid, And they're incredibly loud. Since @Bryson was part of both raids, Can you say anything about this? Not accusing you, Maybe my sound was just bugged.

I can confirm what has been stated here and in addition, I never heard a battering ram despite being closest to the door.

I did not hear the door being rammed either.

Here you can see a cop just casually opening a locked door, this was before the raid on my place even started

No I can completely understand your confusion! We had a player trying to use his battering ram on the door and he told me it was not working so I had to use the "unlock door" on the door to open it up since the battering ram was not working.

I can assure you the battering ram works perfectly on those doors, Because I've done it before as the firefighter.

You gotta relax. We raided you because the realtor shows your building is sold, if that isn't a IC reason we apologise but there is no rules stating we can't do what we did.

I am posting this because I have first hand witnessed that this person is, in my opinion, making false refund requests. He is extremely rude to others when he's not getting his way. Also have you even read the rules/refund request guidelines? Well, here you go-

"You are not allowed to post a refund about a item you lost during a raid, a death, a robbery, etc."

General Roleplay Rule #2- "Metagaming (using OOC knowledge ICly) is not allowed."

I know this particular refund request isn't concerning the raid I made on your base, however, just because someone knows your location does not make it meta game. You are easily able to ICly view the owned properties at the real-estate agent at the bank. And then you can visit those properties under the assumption that there is someone living inside, and then you can burglarize them, because that is what burglars do. When I explained that to you in-game, you went ballistic on me, called me a "Dense motherfucker", and disconnected mid admin sit. If you are basing and farming drugs, expect to be raided, and prepare for it. When I came into your base, you were lounging around with the door to your grow room open without a care in the world.

You've been incredibly rude to me in the past, hence how I reacted to you. This post is just you defending yourself from an entirely seperate event and contributes nothing towards the event at hand. Also yes, I have read the rules, and was instructed to make this refund request by hawke and Bryson. If you have quarrels with me, Send me a private message on the forums; Posting it on an entirely unrelated thread doesn't help anyone.

I don't want to argue with you. I posted this because it is relevant. It is relevant because I am providing a personal account as to why you do not deserve to be refunded.

I'm pretty sure this is metagaming because you're viewing a property through a in-game menu and how would you ICly be able to see all the properties when you're at the bank? It doesn't make sense. It's metagaming, and if anyone has any facts against it please let me know.

@DevulTj"...you're viewing a property through a in-game menu..." So using game mechanics and IC NPC's that tell you which properties are occupied and which ones aren't is now meta game? Using in-game knowledge has all the sudden become meta game? Even though meta-game by definition means using knowledge provided to you outside of the game.

And to answer your question, "...how would you ICly be able to see all the properties when you're at the bank?". I'm not too sure what you are asking here, but all I need to know is that they are bought, and I know where they are because I have played on the server for long enough to know where all the properties are by heart. Nowhere in the rules does it state you need a reason for burglary, and no where in the rules does it state that using the realtor's information to my advantage is meta-game. NPC's are IC I assume, and subsequently, so is the information they provide, or at least I would assume so. If not, a rule needs to be made against it.

If you were looking at a realty office you wouldn't be able to see into everyone's house in the neighbourhood and to see if they are home. Why do you think that it is viable? It's not. 100%. It might not be in the current ruleset but I'm positive it is metagaming.

I think you are getting something confused. If a property is owned it is highlighted in red, you are unable to interact with it whatsoever; this means you cannot see around it or inside of it. Checking the realtor will only tell you if the property is owned or not. You can then use that information to burglarize said property under the assumption that someone is living there, and there may or may not be valuables in the property. If this is indeed a form of FailRP, it needs to be explicitly stated in the rules, which it is not. Personally I do not see this as FailRP or Meta-game in any way. If you wanted to, you could look in the public record and check who owns a property in real life, at least in the United States.

You are completely wrong in this, I will add a rule specifically for you. Any information gained through interaction with the realtor NPC is considered OOC information.

As for the refund request it's been accepted, the entire roleplay situation has been voided and thus what has been lost shouldn't have been. Message a founder in-game with this link to receive the refund.
