Step 1: *Connect and load in onto the monolith server. Click on play and then disconnect.* This step is necessary for the other steps to work.

Step 2: Load up any map in single-player whether it be from the main menu, Start New Game button or through console (EX: map gm_construct)

Step 3: As soon as you're loaded in hold C and you should be able to see these three symbols pop up on the top right.

Step 4: Click on client settings, which causes this UI to show up.

Step 5: Click on the effects tab and then click on Enable raindrops on the screen. Ensure that the circle is to the left.

Now you can finally reconnect to the server and play with a clear screen when the rain pours.

If somehow your screen is still getting flooded with water droplets, you can disable all effects, found in the StormFox tab.

Another way, and faster way is to type sf_allow_raindrops 0 in console.

you can also write the sf_allow_raindrops 0 in your autoexec.lua in your gmod folder making that a permanent thing.
