Your Steam Name: skeme
Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:448754
Your Character Name (If Applicable): Lorrence Skeme
Ban Length: Permanent
Admin who banned you: @WhiteWolf
Ban Reason: Something along the lines of unequipping gun during combat scenario to not lose it, failrp, and breaking RP to talk about OOC things.
Time of Occurrence: 3 days ago.
Relevant Evidence:
I shot somebody in the garage of my house because they broke in, cops outside proceeded to raid our house without inquiring about the gunshots or seeing if we had a license. I went outside the front door to talk to them, supposedly they were telling me to get down on the ground and stuff but I couldn't hear over 12 people in my teamspeak talking. I broke FearRP and backed up into my house and shut the door, he shot at me and so my organization members fired back and a large gunfight broke out, which I still was kind of confused about.
The entire situation went from talking to police to a full blown gunfight in 20 seconds, so it was very confusing and I couldn't hear any of the polices orders because of teamspeak and its loud volume, which my friends can confirm, I keep teamspeak up loud so I can hear my members over in-game chat, as we were basing and I didn't expect to be raided by police so early into our basing operation..
I essentially got banned for putting my SCAR-H into my inventory mid-gunfight to not lose it, and failrp beacuse I didn't listen to the orders of the police at the door, and I broke RP because I said I was gonna report them during the situation and wanted to get an admin before the RP continued because Ive been false raided so many times and they didn't have very good reasoning.
Nonetheless Ive waited a few days to post this and think that a permanent ban is very harsh, I only have like 2 previous bans that arent at all related to what I was banned for in this situation, and the rules I broke were all within 20 seconds because I was freaking out and in a gunfight and I didn't know you couldn't uneqipt your gun, I didn't see that in the rules as there are so many, but I cant blame the rules list, I just didnt know.
I guess Im saying I agree that a ban was in place at the time, but time has passed and I feel a reduction from permanent is in place because in the situation, it was so quick and fucked up and I didnt know what to do and I thought we were being false raided at the time and couldnt hear the admin in the sit over teamspeak, so it was just messed up in general.
