Admin being reported( Tag by writing @ before their forum name) @Arroyo

Reason for Report: Using admin powers to stop a situation he was involved in. Also lying about misuse of powers. My friends saw me getting arrested and did /me opens doors next to me and i got in the car. We escaped police and then our car got frozen by misterlol, at that point i just got randomly tped back next to arroyo in cuffs. No sit, no explanation nothing. After speaking to misterlol (who froze the car and brought me) he said that Arroyo told him to bring me. First of all, no rule that i can find states that to help someone escape police, you need to be in a freq/org/party with them. Regardless Arroyo used his ranking over other staff, to force them to intervene in a situation that he was in. There was no sit i just got tped out. This is blatant abuse of his powers. He could have brought me himself (here is where the lying part comes in) but he asked misterlol. After confronting Arroyo about what he was doing, (when i already knew that misterlol got told to bring me) he told me that "he didn't even bring me" this is where the lying part comes in. Even if he didnt do the command he told a lower member of staff to bring me, therefore he did it.

P.S. : Before someone mentions the LTAP comment, what happened here made me lose 2 basically full g3s in evidence and under the circumstances of just getting tped back randomly without a reason.

Time of Occurrence: 5:30 pm today BST

Good Afternoon,

In accordance with the rules, one may not interfere in a police situation unless they are affiliated by being in the same org/frequency/party. This is to avoid random people from interfering in police situations that they are not supposed to be interfering in. In your own video, a group of random people interfered in a police situation by picking you up and fleeing with you. I do agree this is a grey area that I have mentioned to the higher-ups to clearly outline in the rules. This should be fixed soon to avoid any other hassle.

My friends saw me getting arrested and did /me opens doors next to me and i got in the car.

They were not your friends as staff members have confirmed they are random people. I did not just immediately tell them to bring tye shaw here, I asked them first if they were involved with you in any way and they said no. You were teleported back and roleplay was continued where you continuously broke character.

Sincerely,
Arroyo

They are introduced to me, not random ppl. Also you still should have had a sit, you didnt let anyone else share their side, you still used admin powers to intervene in a situation u were involved in.

"Hello. I ask to you whoever is going to handle this report to allow me to show this other point of view, because even though i know i was not involved in this at first, depending on how this Report ends it will set a unnecessary precedent of staff action for future situations similar to this one and in the end, all players will be affected. So please i ask you guys to consider these points bellow:

[4.2] Criminal Raiding Rules
7.During a police raid, only the current occupants of the base are allowed to defend the base. This is to prevent random civilians with no affiliations to shoot at the police for fun. To be clear: If you are not in the base at the start of the police raid, you can not actively intervene at all
This was the rule Arroyo seemed to mention at his reply above, however its is clear in delimiting the location/situation where it applies: "During a police raid", not shootouts, chases, getaways, but only During police raids. Thus, by far there is no such of "grey area" or any left clarification needed as staff Arroyo claimed.

- -f someone helps a criminal to getaway from cops, that person shall become a criminal too and further being wanted/chased by the cops, its a thing that can be dealt IC as many other many situations you guys tell us to handle InCharacter.
Arroyo, when you ask the higher ups to for some reason to review and "clarificate" an already clear Rule like that, you are basically asking for more unnecessary rule protection that narrows the possibility of RP's, making people create more reports and unnecessery pausing situations like this where it could easily be handled IC, TLDR you're asking for a more "RuleRP" based game.

I dont personally agree with Tye statements that you "abused your power" sounding like you did it in a malicious way, i prefer to believe that you really missed this one. However in the end you really mistook an understanding of a Rule and bended it on according to your own thoughts, using administrative powers to wrongly intervene on that situation that should'nt be intervened. Your actions weren't supported by any server rules, reason why you didn't mentioned any real Rule on your reply, even making up that there is some sort of "grey area" on that rule, that once again you failed to fully mention it.

Thank you whoever is handling this for letting me put my 2 cents. I dont have anything against SA Arroyo, but i felt that i should have pointed out those arguments out in order to possibly avoid any sort of missunderstanding that could affect all of us who tries to do a good roleplay in this game."

This is Jucas reply from me. I got his permission to use the points he provided. Delete this and ill repost it.

@Tye,

Thank you for your report, after reviewing all of the evidence and statements in this post, I have determined the following:
  1. No rules were broken at the start of this situation.
  2. Misinterpretation of the rules led to an incorrect judgment call.
  3. Items lost are eligible for a refund request.

The only rules we have against civilians (regardless of association) intervening with handcuffed civilians, is stated below as:

  1. You may not jump into a vehicle while handcuffed unless another person in or around said vehicle does a /me of opening the door for you. This rule does not apply for being forced into a police car by a Law Enforcement Officer.

I can see in the video that the individual who picked you up did in fact use a /me command, which makes this a valid roleplay scenario. That being said, the only interpretation I can see being used in this scenario, would be our rule against having random civilians interfere with Police raids. As this was not a raid, it does not fall under that category and instead, it would be within the confines of a normal roleplay scenario. As for the actions of Arroyo, I do not believe that they were executed in bad faith, and I believe this to be a case of a misinterpretation. I do not see him lying to you either, he simply affirmed that he did not bring you, which my logs show that misterlol brought you. As he is following the commands of a superior staff member, misterlol's actions are not in question.

Thank you for your patience on this matter, hopefully this clears up any confusion both parties may have. I will be considered this staff report concluded.

Best Regards,
Thanewolfe.
