Reason for Report: RDM: I was driving over the bridge and Stewart just opens fire on myself and other vehicles with no warning and for no reason. Even in the clip you can see that as he fires I try to stop my car so maybe he will stop shooting but he just continues until I am dead.

Hiya -

Yes, yesterday's police force was an absolute travesty. The working theory at the moment is that we received a false call as a troll from one of the PD officers about shots fired on the bridge.

Naturally, when arriving to a 5 car pileup with code reds being called out left right and centre along with various other radio nonsense such as chicken nuggets, stolen police cars and a discussion about a bank raid earlier, it was impossible to organise the PD in a meaningful way.

I chose to implement the department policy of shooting to stop, against a vehicle that I perceived to be fleeing a scene that was entirely code red.

While this killing was not random, I personally believed it was a mistake, and so once I managed to get some resemblance of order back in place (while the mayor and captain insisted on repeatedly putting the drawbridge back down) I opted to revive you and ensure you didn't need anything refunded.

I apologise for the inconvenience this caused you, but as I said to those involved driving through a pileup with officers present runs it's own risks regardless.

The other vehicle to be shot, however, remains a valid and lawful shooting.

Still I understand that that would not be the expected outcome of a situation so again offer my apologies.

With Berry Smith's car - that was driving head on through a group of now seven vehicles, with three officers in between said vehicles, endangering their lives. Only once your vehicle dealt damage to me did I fire upon you, so I stand by my use of force there.

I understand that you are stating the shooting was an accident but that still does not change the fact you broke a rule. If I were to shoot up and kill a bunch of people like you did and say, "sorry that was an accident" I would still be punished for RDM. But I am not staff so I will leave this up to management.

I contest the fact that this was a rulebreak - your video doesn't show the fact that you were the only car leaving a scene which was called out a short moment before as code red, and I followed department policy shooting to stop. Yours was was the only false code red. One other vehicle was shot which dealt damage to me and posed a direct threat to two other officers, I did not go and “shoot up and kill a bunch of people”, I arrived on a scene with false Intel and responded appropriately to the potential threats at hand.

Thank you for your report. After reviewing the evidence provided and Stewart's side, there is insufficient evidence for a rulebreak.

As described by Stewart, you drove through a large pileup, which was clearly an active situation. There is a risk involved in this that you ran. There were multiple code reds called out and you appeared to be fleeing from the scene. Stewart shot, admitted that it was a mistake and took the necessary steps to rectify it within roleplay.

You were not appearing to stop in the clip you provided, so he had no way of stopping to speak to you. The decision to disable your vehicle would be realistic in this situation. It was unfortunate that you were not at fault/not involved in the roleplay scenario in any other way before this, but you inserted yourself into the situation by driving through it with seemingly no intention of stopping or speaking to the police involved.

This was within roleplay. Denied.
