Reason for Report: My friend was being pulled over and called it out on radio so I went to back him up considering that cops have been rdming, combat tazing, breaking nlr for the past few hours. I drive up next to the car and he calls out my License Plate And my Car, I then ask my friend in the car if thats technically calling me out, I then ask the admin who was being pulled over and they both respond "I think so". I then jump out and kill the officer (Afash). A detective runs over my friend and I kill him. After the sitaution I then ask The_Ghost (the one being pulled over) if that was legal as he called out my car and license plate with my name on it. He then says yes most definetly. I get reported and a day blacklist for RDM and cop baiting. Bearing in mind Backflare is aware that I asked 2 people next to me and has a clip of the situation provided by Afash.

Let me list out the sequence of events that led up to your punishment, First Afash conducted a traffic stop after The_Ghost ran a red light infront of him, You pull up onto the grass to which Afash responds by giving a brief description of your car & your license plate number and asks for backup, Afash approaches your car without a weapon in hand and asks you to turn off your car and asks for your drivers license, You ask the two other parties if that is technically calling you out and get the responses "I think so" and then hop out and gun the officer down. You & your group have been seemingly looking for reasons to kill officers as shortly before this took place one of your group members was running around near Bank with a Class 3 equipped and shortly after the situation you and another player had class 3's equipped inside the bank.

That doesnt answer the problem of how I was blacklisted for RDM aswell when he called me out meaning I have valid KOS

Also bare in mind the same time we were at the bank was the same time you had just arrived to freeze a mass prop pusher who had prop pushed my car.....

You simply did not have KOS, You decided to interfere with a traffic stop and make yourself a part of it Afash simply asked for backup and gave a description of your car since his simple traffic stop has become more complicated with a second car, I do not know where you got this idea that being "called out" was grounds for a KOS regardless of context. For example if I were to pull you over and say "Initiating a traffic stop on a green skyline license plate SCOTT requesting 1 unit as backup" you cannot just shoot me because I "called you out". He literally called out my car and my license plate the word "called out". I dont understand in what possible that isnt calling me out. Can you give me any possible reason how that isnt calling out?

The reason I am avoiding using the word and using quotes around it when I do is because you seem to have the misunderstanding that once they "call you out" you have KOS on them which is incorrect.

Ah, I was unaware of any rules that state/insinuate that you may just KOS a cop for just "calling you out" if you would be so kind as to post the rule number that states such a thing I would be most appreciative.

as the senior admin i believe you should have access to it. As i've done it multiple times and never been told off by an admin. Infact I was told calling out is kos by admins

But judging by most sits i've been in most admins are on completely different servers when it comes to having the same rules. None of you can come up with the same answer

Thank you for your report.

To clear up any confusion, I will list the relevant rule(s) that concern this report:

• Cop Baiting - The act of excessively provoking Law Enforcement for the sole purpose of having them chase you or incite some other reaction from them for your own mere enjoyment.
• FailRP - Actions performed by your character that are not realistic and do not correlate with the setting of the server and your roleplay role.
• You may not kill a Law Enforcement Officer unless you have a valid roleplay reason to do so. These could include, but are not limited to, visibly carrying illegal weapons or visibly performing an illegal activity. These reasons depend on the context. If police are attempting to initiate an arrest on you while you are carrying hidden illegal items in your inventory, that is a valid reason to kill them.
• Attacking to kill should be carried out sensibly and not as a first resort, unless you have a good reason for immediate lethal action.
• You may not harm a Law Enforcement Officer for writing you, your friends or organization/party members a ticket. In addition, you may not harm a Law Enforcement Officer for previously arresting you and/or confiscating items from your inventory.
• Fail Driving - The process of having no regard to any roleplay when in a vehicle, be it slamming into most if not all objects purposely. Failure to comply with this will result in punishments of FailRP. This is different from in-character reckless driving which is not prohibited by our rules.
• You may not shoot or harm Law Enforcement Officers, in order to help other players, unless they are in the same party, organization or radio frequency as you.

After reviewing this clip, I was able to determine that you in-fact, along with your friend, violated several rules. You knowingly interfere with a traffic stop by Fail Driving, which grabs the attention of the Officer. It would appear that your intentions were to provoke Law Enforcement for the sole purpose of your own enjoyment by getting into a shootout after you claim that you had KOS. In order to have valid "KOS" for a Law Enforcement Officer, you need to have a roleplay reason, just the simple act of calling your license plate out after you violated several traffic laws, does not constitute a "valid" roleplay reason. You also break character by asking OOC information in voice chat. Furthermore, I am unsure why you were involved in the first place, if it was to help the individual in the charger, you would need to establish that he was in-fact meeting the same criteria as listed in rule 2.2.8 and you must follow rule 2.2.9. In this case, it appears that he was only under suspicion of breaking a traffic law, which would result in a ticket. Therefore, you are not allowed to harm a Law Enforcement Officer for simply writing a ticket to a org member. All I was able to see was you two Cop Baiting, Fail Driving, Fail RP, violating rule 2.2.4, 2.2.8, 2.2.9 and 2.2.10.

I find that the punishment was valid and relevant to the rules being broken, and I do not see any abuse of power from Backflare.
