Reason for Report:

Wrongfully denying a player report. I would like to mention that Eldar also has another staff report against him for the same reason. My report was denied because he claims that there was an attempt to run the Sargent over. However, as you can clearly see in the video, there was absolutely no attempt to run him over. I do not know how one could possibly think that, especially after I just kept driving away from him. It would have not been hard for me to run over him if I wanted to, there are no obstacles on that road. He was standing at the back half of my car and I drove forward-ish. If I wanted to run him over I would have moved up a bit and backed up into him. He claims that because I "attempted to run him over" that he could have called a code red on me. But that clearly was not the case, you do not walk up to somebody who is code red and ask him about why he was parked illegally. If somebody is code red you shoot first and ask questions later and that is common knowledge. Why would I attempt to run over a Sargent when I had NO weapon on me to protect myself and when I had a $30K fridge with me while he had a shotgun. I was legitimately attempting to flee from him. Which is easier than confronting him. Also, he only shot me after I told him that everything was being recorded. When I told him that I was recording he got angry with me and shot me. In the video you can clearly hear him trying to stifle his laughter cause he thought it was sooooo funny to shoot up my car for no legitimate reason. The way I see it there is no controversy in the video, it is very clear. You can see everything in 1080p 60fps. If I was trying to run him over I would not go through all this trouble of filing not just one, but two reports and then going to re-watch the video to see exactly what went down. I appreciate you guys for helping out in the community. Thank you.

In your video the officer could very well have perceived you turning into him as a threat to his life. You can even see as you pull out your vehicle nudges him, he then fires.

You could have just PM'ed me to talk about this too ya know.

I didn't know that I could have pm'd you, I thought that would have been harassment of some sort. Thanks for letting me know, I'll be sure to do that next time.

Also, I would like to mention that I did nudge him, but I did not do any damage to him, at that point its just GMOD physics doing its work. We all know how the physics can be. Him ramming into my vehicle was clearly mingy behavior though, it was parked on the sidewalk, not in the middle of the road and he drove straight into it.

Also, code red is a KOS call, and he did not KOS me. He was messing around with me and being plain ol' annoying and not role playing at all. I was not a threat to his life in any way, shape or form.

Of course the game physics is gonna nudge him, thats because he was literally pushed up against my car. If you wanna talk about RP I can tell you now that if a cop is pushed up against my car while I'm in it and is pointing a shot gun at me because of a parking violation you better believe I'm going to dash, I'd rather go to court than get shot by a crazy corrupt cop. IRL if I evaded a cop he would probably get into his car and chase after me, not shoot me.

Lets say there was a possibility that it could have been perceived as me trying to run him over. Why was he laughing and saying asking me why I was parked illegally while he shot up my car? The whole deal screams RDM and mingyness. There are so many things that are wrong about the whole situation. If I didn't have anything illegal on me I would have told him "oh sorry officer, I was just going inside to pick up some stuff, ill go ahead and move my car, please dont give me a ticket" but I did have contraband on me so I did the same thing I would have done IRL, dipped tf outta there.

Side Note: there should be a rule that cops can't give you a ticket for a reasonable amount of time if you have your car parked somewhere illegally while you have your hazards on. In this case I didn't have my hazards on, just food for thought though.

I told him "everything is recorded and you're being reported" then he says something along the lines of "F*** you you're getting reported for F****ing meta-gaming. I don't know why he specifically chose meta-gaming because I mean....I wasn't. I guess he got angry/worried that I was actually recording and he knew what he did was wrong so he just shot me to feel better about himself and to feel that in the moment, he was more powerful.

Okay yeah, that there is 100% RDM. Him shooting your vehicle was justified in the first video, be it Gmod or not your vehicle struck him in one way or another. Normally, he did the right thing, disabled the vehicle so it was no longer a threat he then should have engaged you for an arrest. Instead he talks and blows you away.

Had this segment been included in the PR I would have punished him ASAP for this. Just him shooting the car was justified.

Yea I'm sorry about that. It's the instant replay feature, I hit the hotkey and it saved the last 4 some minutes, then when I got out of the car and he killed me I hit the hotkey again and it saved from the moment I hit the hot key the first time instead of saving the past 4 minutes again. That's my bad. And I did lose a fridge because of it. I'm almost 100% sure that the fridge isn't confiscate-able, it's only drop on death. So he must have stolen it from my car. I'm not entirely sure though.

As staff (More so report management) we have to go off the information we are given and look at it as objectively as possible. In the evidence provided on the PR he did not RDM you. With the evidence provided here, he clearly did. It's so very important to double check your evidence for consistency otherwise we make a call based on what's there. With that in mind, I do not feel I handled your report incorrectly. Never be afraid to PM us, we don't bite (Some do, stay away from Chef.)

With that, Spooky Woofs (STEAM_0:1:22640501) will be banned for one day for RDM, in addition to a three day police/security blacklist. You may make a refund for your fridge, use this post and tag (@Eldar987) for evidence.

Basically from what I see this situation was a misunderstanding. Now that you uploaded the complete video (which you hadn't for some reason) Eldar changed his decision and punished the player accordingly for RDM.
