Reason for Report: I faced direct, retaliatory action from Maj.Kat for filing a staff report against him a few days ago (https://monolithservers.com/forums/threads/player-report-for-deshawn-jamalkins.26030/). I commented one comment about the outcome of the report in OOC chat and Maj.Kat responded by immediately banning me from OOC chat for a day and indefinitely revoking my status as mentor. I didn't complain about the outcome, nor did I mention him by name, I only mentioned the ruling. This is a ridiculous escalation by Maj.Kat, I have been very diligent in responding to questions in help chat and OOC chat from the community and this was clearly an emotional impulse decision made by him.

It is absolutely absurd that you think you can behave this way as a mentor; a person that represents the server. I am not going to have someone as a Mentor on the server that behaves like a child.

I think the most immature part about this is that you say this in OOC right after you encounter me in game, it was almost as if you were asking for it.

There is nothing immature about not agreeing with every single decision that a server makes. I thoroughly enjoy Monolith servers and the community, but that doesn't mean that I have to like every single thing about it. Criticism isn't childish and I made a single comment about it. I wasn't dominating OOC with discussion about it and I did not violate any server rule with that comment. It was not listed in the mentor applications or the mentor rules that I'm not allowed to have some minor criticisms about the server.

I don't even recall encountering you in game today, I haven't made a single report ticket at all today.

There’s a right and a wrong way to criticize.
This becomes even more important when you’re representing the server in an official capacity.
If you believe something within the rules should be changed, you make a proper suggestion, you don’t throw snarky comments in OOC.
Not to mention that your complaint in itself is false as staff can’t authorize themselves but need another staff member who is an SA or higher.

If you feel that @Maj.Kat was targeting you by demoting you for your conduct, which I can understand how it can look like personal retaliation, I can assure you that if he hadn’t, someone else would have for how you behaved.
