What happened is he was caught robbing a grow house near the clothing store, I took him into custody and were going to take his weapon and a bong due to him not having a firearm license and the bong due to drug paraphernalia. He dropped the firearm upon having 2 guns pointed at him but would not drop the bong while under FearRP. He was given 2-3 chances to drop it. It took him 9-10 minutes to drop this bong. As a mod, he should know the rules and not make 3 officers waste 9 minutes

In this instance I dropped the gun which is the only item in my inventory I needed to drop, because bongs are not an item police officers can make a player drop if it is not used in any crimes. I ended up dropping it anyways so I could get on with my day.

Take a look at the laws of monolith guide, there is nowhere it says the bong is an item that can be confiscated, and every other staff member I talked to said it can't be confiscated.

Hello @John Leonard,

After reviewing this staff report I understand that @SwimmingBird did not know that the bong was illegal and supposed to be dropped. It seems as if it is a less obvious thing since it is not stated directly in the law book, however, we will work on adding in-game laws to prevent this from happening again. I, however, understand that Swimming Bird was somewhat stalling in this situation. It is not too big of a deal, and he will be told not to stall RP for too long and rather just wait for Staff to deal with it. This staff report is somewhat accepted in the fact that Swimming Bird could have handled this situation ingame better, but he was not caught in an abuse of power.

We appreciate your staff report and it will be dealt with. Swimming bird however was not caught in an abuse of power so no further administrative action is required.
