Your Steam Name: Official Car Mechanic
Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:172187914
Your Character Name (If Applicable): John Leonard

Admin being reported( Tag by writing @ before their forum name) @ja1003 @Joey.

Reason for Report: General Rule 1,
“Your expected behavior is not limited to the rules below. Use common sense: When in doubt if something you are doing might be against the rules, it could very well be. If you have any doubt, contact a staff member.”
Roleplay Rule 1
“ You must act realistically at all times. You may not run around not roleplaying at all. This includes, but is not limited to, running around on the main roads, jumping on, and hitting vehicles. Do note that you will be playing a character.”

Ok, this report is being made against the people above due to there “F.B.I” roleplay. This all started when I went to eat and got back being handcuffed. What happened was they pulled out an FBI badge and said they are with the “Traffic Enforcement Division” (FYI Doesn’t exist) The FBI does not enforce traffic. They investigate matters as they did during this stop (which was illegal). After stopping the car they stated they were with the Traffic Enforcement Divison, after saying “ WE ARE WITH THE FBI” a good thousand times Sgt. Jamalkins illegally searched my vehicle without any probable cause and finds an “M4 Carbine” and “Cocaine” using /me. I come back from eating as the driver says and I am wondering what the fuck is happening, after being told there is an M4 and Coke in my truck, I corporate with them and at the end they let us both go after wasting our time.

Situation two with the FBI, I got on detective to see what they were up to after seeing them on this traffic stop. I get on duty and follow their vehicles, two police Lamborghinis with lightbars (FBI doesn’t drive Lamborghinis) I leave the PD after them and follow them to crook crest, where they get behind me and pull me over in my vehicle, they asked why I was tailing them. They ask me out of the vehicle which I comply with. After this they ask for an ID so I show my badge, and they want to conduct an investigation, they want me to go to the PD and answer some questions, I asked my friend Clark to be my attorney, he does not reply, after Joey saying I gotta go somewhere, he goes to the corner of the graveyard and puts his hands up so he won’t get AFK kicked, which I believe is considered an exploit. After sitting there for a while they give up and say you’re free to go. Now there are have done a couple of things they did wrong, #1 FBI Traffic Enforcement doesn’t exist, #2 They broke into my vehicle and did an illegal search, #3 Joey used an exploit to not get AFK kicked.

Hello @John Leonard ,

I want to start this by saying that the whole hands up thing in the corner was not an exploit. I do believe you still get kicked while doing that. I do that so if someone comes to me in RP they should have no reason to kill me, which does happen a lot. If they would like to mug me or do something in RP they don’t have to ask me to put my hands up and I’m not able to cause I’m afk cause they are already up. It makes things easier for both parties as it reduces me "stalling RP" for being AFK. So like I said, it wasn’t meant as an exploit because I don’t even think it works like that.

Next, I would like to say that the whole FBI thing was just a way to have a little more RP. We did notice you were AFK so we cuffed you in case you came back and tried to pull something. I don’t believe your driver, Josephi (@uwu), had an issue as he was role playing along with us. As you know, we uncuffed you both and left you as we found you. We didn’t intend to make things hard on you guys but we’re trying to have a little bit of fun in RP which I believed was a success considering Josephi was playing along with us and I heard him laughing and messing around.

In the end, I’m sorry for any inconveniences you may have came across, however, I don’t think we did anything wrong in the situation as we got a laugh out of your friend. I didn’t notice you had an issue with it and I thought nothing of it afterwards cause it was a pretty long time from then to now and I saw nothing of it again until today.

Thank you,
Joey.

Hello @John Leonard,

Alright, I'm going to explain this scenario in two sections, as there were two situations in which lead to this staff report.

Scenario - 1

You were pulled over for a valid traffic infraction, in which the driver (@uwu) pulled over to the side of the road. Then proceeded to ask you guys to step outside of the vehicle (in which you were AFK). I can't stall roleplay for someone who's AFK. You were then asked multiple times to step outside of the vehicle and ignored us (as you were AFK). We then proceeded to force you outside the vehicle, and search you because you failed to cooperate with a law enforcement officer. You were then released upon officers' discretion.

Scenario - 2

Upon this scenario, we noticed that you were constantly following us and seemed to give radio call-outs about us as well. We then proceeded to pull you over to get a better explanation of why you were tailing us, and seemed to be making weird callouts. You then refused to answer any of our questions which we then requested for a higher up. Following that, we found out that you were a detective and explained by the higher-ups it's weird how you were not on police frequency and seemed to be giving callouts. You were then let go free, as we performed our investigation and decided to release you.

Considering @Joey. going AFK with his hands up in the back was not purposely used as an "exploit." He was just putting his hands up just in case a situation arose in which there was a gunfight, and he wanted to be surrendered. @Joey. returned from being AFK minutes later, so if this was the case and he was purposely using this "exploit" he would have been there way longer.

In Conclusion,

I feel as there were no rules broken from either me nor joey, moreover no "misuse of administrative powers." This was simply a roleplay enhancement that was supposed to make roleplay more exciting and fun and represented in the first video of @uwu. We have never got mentioned an issue about this roleplay from you and this was just brought up now (almost a week later).

I will let community management handle it from here. Thanks.

Sincerely, ja1003

I personally, dont see this as much of a problem, I could see how some people find it annoying, and nerve racking to possibly lose illegal items on you as alot of cops try to do what they did, {without the sense of humor of course.} I got quite the chuckle out of this roleplay scenario. Personally, I see that @ja1003 and @Joey. gave me a good RP experience and made my day. I enjoyed the insanely stupid roleplay we had, and I had more interactions with the so called FBI.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to make a report. There are multiple points I want to go over so I will section it out.

1- @Joey. AFKing with his hands up. This isn't an exploit, but in the future he should go to a safe area while he is temporarily AFK rather than putting his hands up in a corner.

2- Staff will occasionally do "FBI roleplay" to enhance their own and other player's time on the server. This is almost never completely realistic, but a way to have some fun. FBI may not drive lambo's or normally do traffic stops, but for the sake of RP, I see no issue with this. They were in marked vehicles with lights so doing a routine traffic stop is fine.

3- There was nothing wrong with them handcuffing you when you were AFK, you were told multiple times to step off the vehicle and put your hands up but did not.

4- They investigate you tailing them, from the video this is all in RP and no action is taken against you (i.e being arrested/fined). I see no rulebreaks in this portion of the video.

5- As for the /me finds carbine, this is where the roleplay seems to get a little out of hand. Neither Ja or Joey had permission to be corrupt, so they did not have perms to find fake or plant evidence. However after speaking with them it seems this was intended to be a joke. In the video uwu is not detained for this /me, but rather after he says he is intoxicated. This is fine in RP. You are already detained, but then @ja1003 says that you had cocaine in your trunk. If you were to be brought in for questioning or arrested over this it would be a bigger issue - but he then says that they were just coke cans and you are released, as this was also meant to be a joke. All of that said, I can see how it can be frustrating for you to be detained over this and fear spending time in jail. Both @Joey. and @ja1003 have been spoken to and know that they should not use "/me (finds x)" as a means to start an investigation. Beyond this I see no issue with the roleplay that took place.

There was no severe rulebreak here, and their powers were used only to attempt to enhance roleplay. No further action required.

Concluded.
