Evidence to support your claim: So this first started when he apparently watched me play with some friends I met ingame and accused us of using a 3rd party voice communication because we was being quiet ingame when we was not.
He then took us out of our RP situation and tried to force us to admit to something we wasn't doing because of his assumptions. He strictly told us that if we was to use any 3rd party voice communications it can only be the monolith discord. Shortly after this he switched to cop and started to witch hunt and harass us. He was consistently coming to our apartment and knocking on the door on multiple different occasions, giving tickets to our cars, driving around, hanging around outside and basically looking for any reason he could within the rules to ruin our RP experience on the server. Later that same day I was playing with one of the guys I met and we decided to jump on the discord that he told us to use.
A video evidence was posted by the guy I met @SpAxx which was completely unrelated to the whole situation, the admin found the video (I have no idea how, he was clearly digging deep for the witch hunt by going on this guys youtube and checking out all his videos) and used it as evidence against us. He again assumed something that was incorrect (that we wasnt using the monolith discord) and took it upon himself to issue a ban. He privately messaged us telling us that we would get a ban for meta gaming, lying to an admin and not using the monolith discord (the one he told us to use). I did not lie to him at all and at the time I did not realize that using the discord was not allowed for talking about ingame situations (I thought that was the whole point of using the discord considering how much he emphasized we used it).
So yes I admit to what I did but you can understand from my perspective it seemed unclear that the discord was not to be used for ingame communication, but in no way does it warrant a 3 day for a first time offence on this, a simple warning about it would of been sufficient and I mean I own a radio ingame there is no need for me to use a 3rd party to communicate. This admin has based the majority of this ban on assumptions without any actual evidence and is acting irresponsible and unprofessional because we robbed him ingame. Im sure he will lie and say it has nothing to do with that but clearly, it does. Im pretty sure there is no admin that would witch hunt players so much for such a minor infringement and issue such a harsh and unreasonable punishment without solid evidence. This admin clearly has a grudge on me because of in character actions and the situation is definitely not being handled fairly. He also stated that the ban was going to be originally 5 days but since hes such a nice guy in his own words he has reduced it down to 3. I brang this up with a senior admin and he stated that a ban for this being the first rule break of this nature would be unnecessary which I would completely agree.
From my perspective an admin is there to make sure everybody on the server is enjoying them self within reason, make sure people are not intentionally or extensively breaking rules and to use their common sense with dealing with situations, help people so they want to return to the server and issue punishments in a fair and respectable manor. I do not think admins should be witch hunting individuals for minor rule breaks or ingame related grudges, attempting to ruin their RP experience as best they can within the rules and issuing harsh and unreasonable punishments to extremely active players.
It doesn't make sense that somebody would go to such lengths to find out this information and then issue such a harsh punishment unless there was some other reasoning behind it. Im not sure exactly what was in the video because I havent seen it but ive only ever used discord once with @SpAxx and it was for a total of around 15 minutes on the monolith discord. I did not intentionally break any rules nor did I lie to him and I legitimately thought the discord was used for talking to your friends ingame.
