Stuck in initializing screen

Every time I try to join i get stuck on the initializing screen and cant do anything.

It's a server data issue, staff have been notified and we're trying to fix it.

Just simply restart your Garry’s Mod. This happens to me from time to time.

I have restarted it multiple times and it still didn't work.

OBVIOUSLY WE HAVE TRIED THAT, WOULD WE REALLY BE ON HERE IF WE HADNT TRIED THE BASIC SOLUTIONS ALREADY... JFC

im seriously losing my fking patience with this issue, 90 + people in server saying its fine and all i have to do is validate my files... I literally got blacklisted for asking for help in ooc. Nobody gives a shit apparantly

Alright I know you might be frustrated but lashing out on the people trying to help you won't help anyone.
Have you tried restarting your computer? Restarting your internet? Flushing your IP? Because those are also basic solutions and you said you tried all of them.

I can confirm that myself and my friend across the country are both still having the problem where we are stuck at the initializing screen.

Then read what I've said and respond to further diagnose the problem... For all I know it could just be server-side.

Restarting computer did not change issue.

Files were validated. Mine had 9 that needed to be replaced, my friend validated successfully. Same issue regardless.

Restarted rounters and tried different internet connections in different buildings with different ISP's, did not solve problem.

Correct, both of us are still stuck on the splash screen. We can hear other people in the sever driving around, sirens, and so on; but can't get past initializing.
