Reason for Report: Told the Sheriff that the mayor was code red for "corruption"
However, Jeck Johnj (Blathrs;STEAM_0:1:55714769) wasn't corrupt. I was told by Admin Wright that the police department cannot put the mayor in jail for corruption if he simply doesn't have the budget to give to PD. They came after us, and eventually he was arrested. TheRustyPlayer, said he was code red, the Sheriff (Didn't catch his name) shot and killed him. | Chris Smith was the mayor yesterday (5/10/2019) when Wright told the mayor he isn't corrupt for not giving budget |
- I will add, he did however flee when they surrounded him at townhall for being "corrupt"
But to be executed for fleeing?

I got called by the pd in a report asking if the mayor would be "code red" for corruption, I answered with they reply that "yes if the mayor is corrupt that he is code red" witch is correct as a few days earlier I had asked @PMX if corruption meant code red and he confirmed yes.

you state @Wright statement but he has confirmed you have taken that stamen out of context, yes if you have no money to give pd then pd have to give you enough time to gather the funds but if you purposely withdraw funding from pd then you are considered "corrupt"

you withdraw money from pd for 18 min before trying to flee the cops as they were trying to arrest you, I witnessed you fleeing from the cops on the limo witch resulted in the cops shooting you car as you ran over cops "corruption" on top of that the pd stated you were constantly trying to flee the cops as your time as mayor "corruption"

you received a 1 day blacklist for this unortherized corruption

For the record, I'd like to point out, I wasn't the mayor at the given time (As that was stated in the original post). I was part of his SS squad. (Being bystanders)
I just wanted clear something up.


If there is no budget to give to PD, are they authorized to hunt down the mayor for corruption? (Because from my point of view, this is exactly what happened)

As mentioned above, if the mayor does not have sufficient funds on him, the Police Department cannot arrest/detain him for being corrupt. This only applies if the mayor has enough funds but does not refill public departments' budgets.

If the mayor was being corrupt by fleeing and eluding, the Police Department are allowed to initiate an arrest/detention on him. Since he was also running over cops, as rusty said, that is a valid reason to kill him. Do note, however, if the mayor is corrupt, that grants regular citizens a valid reason to either initiate a coup (alongside the Police Department) or to kill him.

As the mayor was apparently not given permission to be corrupt, the player was punished accordingly with a blacklist.
