Trouble Joining

I recently stumbled upon this server, it looks great and I'm dying to play, but I have yet to be able to successfully connect and play. I was able to connect once but because of missing content the menu was unreadable, so I get the content but now I get consistent "Lost connection with server" messages during the initialization process. Latency is only 45, any settings recommendations would be great.
I'm also rather new to using Forums of any kind so if I'm doing this wrong let me know, thanks in advance.

If you're having trouble connecting while joining such as timing out or lost connect / Stuck on the initialization screen attempt to lower gmod graphics to medium or low. That should help you load in faster and stop you from loosing connection
