So recently i bought a pc with a 1060 and a i5 and decided to play monolith today when i join the server i see a that i cant even get over 30 fps my old laptop did better and its about 6 years old any tips for me so i could actually play on the server

cant even do the /fps command anymore since when i activate it i just crash

same lol. if i play it has to be on my laptop i bought for 600. my pc i built for almost 2 thousand gets max of 40 frames where my laptop gets like 50

Hi @IceDiryi,

Monolith can be bit laggy, especially during times when Monolith is quite full, but you can try setting your game to x64 bit via the Beta tab, (Right click Garry's Mod > Properties > Betas).

The 64-Bit Beta has resolved issues where people had lag issues, or lot of crashes. Hope it helps.

Upgrade your drivers, overclock your CPU if you need too.

Use a smaller res.

Keep in mind the players have increased massively and a much bigger map.
