If you like crime shows check out Mindhunter. Episode 1 is a snooze in my opinion but it sets up a really incredible series based on a true story. If you're interested in where terminology like "serial killer" came from, watch it, and then read the book!
Killing Eve is also a good crime show, but isn't based on anything like Mindhunter is and focuses more on the story rather than realism.
